At our Eufaula, AL location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

Recently remodeled and reopened since being on fire a few years ago. I give them a solid 4 stars. Everything went well. The drive thru line was backed up to the street but it seemed as if they were handing things pretty well. I ordered online so my wait was very minimal once I walked in . Staff was working hard to keep things rolling hope they dont mess up such a good stable in the eufaula area.

I went today and use the coupon 2-3 piece fish dinner $15.99. One plate was hot and one was warm. My okra was salty and couldn’t eat them. I poured some vinegar on my fish not knowing it was slimy and I didn’t eat the fish that it landed on because I was scared so a whole plate of fish I couldn’t eat which was a waste of money. I just got home with my food but some how I missed not seeing the 5 piece shrimp didn’t get it also a employee in the back said they were going to quit not sure if they realized customer’s heard that also they aren’t very friendly no smiles I was happy when you reopened but now I’m not sure and I never get the sauces I asked for after spending $40. They do need to work with smiles I didn’t see any one smiling without customer’s you won’t have a job .

These fish are soooooo small, dry, mostly breading 1/8th inch of dry fish. Hushpuppies raw, old terrible meal. Tea was sour. Fish smaller than the tiny hushpuppy. Slaw was was ok.

Went to Captain Ds in Eufaula in evening and it was extremely busy.Enter and we were greeted friendly and order taken quick.Very pleasant and respectful staff.They brought the food to us and asked if we needed anything else.Food was hot and tasted good.When we visit Eufaula again we will make this a must stop.

Short staffed. Today friend and I went for lunch. I ordered grilled salmon with broccoli and green beans and unsweetened tea. Friend was served quickly. After a considerable wait, I was served grilled white fish and sweet tea.
I took my plate back to find the person who took my order entered it wrong in the computer. My plate was set aside while salmon cooked. Then was served very tasty salmon with cold rice and vegetables. Not a good experience.
