Melo’s is a go-to spot for hearty Portuguese food. We ordered our family Christmas dinner (Chicken, Potatoes, Grill Veggies, Rice, & Greek Salad for 50 pp), the chicken & potatoes were so juicy & flavorful. All the food was super delicious: rice, grilled veggies and salad, everything was super tasty. The potatoes were seasoned just right with yummy mild & hot sauce… so perfect!! Our guests were so happy with the food and generous portions. The service was super friendly and delivered food just in time. Very impressed with overall quality,
Melo’s definitely worth ordering food for small to medium-sized events, especially for the Portuguese chicken & potatoes, and that creamy, enjoyable hot sauce! They also have a weekly seafood special on Fridays. mouth-watering dishes…. You must visit for a take-out; you’ll never be disappointed.

Tried it for the first time and the food was great!
We had the dinner option of
Full chicken and 2 medium sides. We added to that The grilled veggies in small portion (it comes cold so you need to heat it up)
We also tried the Portuguese style empanadas one filled with Shrimp and the other with minced beef. Everything was great !
We also got 2 custard pies which I forgot to take pics before eating! They were of the best that I tried recently !
Added to that, the staff (maybe the owner) who served us was super friendly

I heard about this place through a close friend, she spoke so highly of it that I had to make the travel from Toronto to Milton to see for myself. I’m glad I made the trip because I was very impressed with everything this place had to offer. Melo’s BBQ is truly the place to be for great food, even greater service, and a very traditional Portuguese atmosphere that made me feel like I was in a Portugal style environment. I ordered the traditional chicken, rice, and potatoes, and I was pleasantly impressed. Even my parents (who had the pleasure of enjoying the food from the platters that were catered for us) enjoyed it immensely, and they set a high standard for European food. I will return again in the near future in the hopes of trying out the rest of their menu and re-ordering some classic favorites. Bottom line, I highly recommend this place, no matter if you are near or far, it is totally worth it. Well done Melo’s BBQ, keep up the amazing work and keep the traditions alive!

I tried Melo’s BBQ for the first time when i ordered food for our Christmas Eve dinner with family. I had a very good experience ordering food from Melo’s BBQ. I picked up my order on Christmas Eve this week at 2pm, and did not have to wait like previous placed i ordered from for Xmas eve dinner. In the past , at other places i ordered food, i normally waited 1-3 hrs to pick up my order, but not at Melo’s BBQ. Melo’s BBQ had my order ready for pick up and the food was amazing and portions for each dish i ordered was plentiful. I would definitely recommend Melo’s BBQ to anyone!

Delicious food. Ordered family pack with 2 full chicken and everything was spot on. Quantities are very generous, and taste is amazing. Love the hot sauce, wish I can buy hot sauce bottle on side. Potatoes and salad were so good. Nice to have such a good spot in the neighbourhood. I wish they can extend their evening hours.

Really good moist chicken. It came out steaming hot & the potatoes were very soft and the hot sauce very flavorful. Parking is awful which is obviously out of their control but the food and staff are very good!

Amazing Food!!!! Ordered Dinner #2…Great portions. The chicken was amazing, Ribs were delicious and the vegetables and potatoes were fantastic! Walked in didn’t have to wait, very efficient and super clean, service was excellent and friendly staff. Definitely going back to Melo’s, our family loved it !

Had the grilled chicken with sides. Chicken was well cooked and the skin was charred just right. Been wanting to try this for a while and did not dissapoint. There was a mishap while ordering but they were very accommodating.
They did have Portuguese tarts as well, did not order them though.

They are always so friendly and the portions and food are amazing. They always ask how my son is and give a lollipop for him. Great place !
