Just wow! Reuban Sandwich perfectly grilled and the corn beef tender and sooo flavorful! Not overly salty like some. My husband had Shepherds Pie and said, “Its a cup of love!” I had a few bites and every bite was amazing! Vegetables, potatoes, and meat. Cooked from scratch or at least it tasted like it. We both will be back to try a few more things on the menu! Loved the atmosphere and service!! Sharma was so friendly and attentive.

I really enjoyed my visit to this pub in Eureka! It has a wonderfully authentic vibe, with a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. The food and drinks were fantastic, with a great selection to choose from. However, one of our sandwiches didn’t quite hit the mark—it wasn’t as good as the other dishes. Despite that, it didn’t take away from the overall positive experience. I’d definitely recommend it for a laid-back, enjoyable meal!

What a unique surprise here in Eureka! Fabulous atmosphere with an outstanding selection of draft beer. Homemade dishes that are absolutely delicious! The cranberry martinis are extremely tasty. Carrot cake cupcakes are a must have. Will definitely return and highly recommend.

It was our first time here, and unfortunately, probably the last. The server was super pleasant and the atmosphere was pretty cool. However I ended up sending my Reuben back twice and asked for it to be removed from the bill- so I ended up eating just some of the appetizers for dinner. We ordered mushrooms for appetizers as soon as we ordered drinks, but they didn’t arrive until after the entrees, which was very quick! The waitress had to go find them and came back with a small portion. She said they had to make more. Sheppard’s pie was good. The vegetables in it were a little crunchy. It came with a side of bread that had a burnt spot on it, but it was edible. The Reuben looked good but smelled burnt. When I flipped it over, the down side was black. I told the server who immediately apologized, and the new one came out almost immediately. This one was barely grilled on the top side, however it was obvious that first sandwich had been repurposed and there was hardly any corned beef on one side. The plate was sloppy and had sauerkraut and shreds of meat on it. I asked the server to take it off of the check, which she did and apologized again. It’s a shame because I really wanted to like it.

The service is quick and very friendly! The Reuben sandwich is the best we have experienced at any restaurant. The Shepherd ‘s pie is very good and not the run of the mill mashed potato covered meatloaf. The desserts were tasty too. The restaurant is clean and apparently the tables are also sanitized for safety (smelled Lysol briefly as the table next to us was bussed). We had an enjoyable dinner and plan to return.

Two buddies and I visited O’Dell’s on a Saturday afternoon. It was a destination for us, as my friend had been there previously and said the wings were fantastic (they are!). The pub is in the heart of Eureka’s Historic District.

We got there around 2pm and found seats at the bar. The place is comfortable and is run by family – something I appreciate. The beer selection was decent with at least one beer to accommodate just about every type of beer palate. For me, that’s Bud Select, which was perfectly cold. They have a TouchTunes jukebox, so we were able to listen to music of our choosing, another nice touch.

All three of us ordered the wings and a beer. While waiting for the food, we chatted with the owner, who was hand-washing beer mugs behind the bar. He gave us a little history of the place which was pretty neat. He also gave a little insight on the kitchen and the wings, and mentioned that they have an oil filtration unit that helps keep the oil clean; they change the oil frequently to ensure the food comes out great. This attention to quality showed in the wings!

The wings are ordered by the pound, and come in one of three flavors: Jack Daniels, House (hot), or Garlic Parmesan. I had the House sauce, which was delicious. Not too hot, and it had a tiny bit of sweetness; very flavorful. Definitely not the standard Franks hot sauce and butter. There is a very light breaded-like coating on the wings, which added a little crunch to them. The wings were good-sized; not huge and not small. My buddies both had the Jack wings. I tried one of those but preferred the House sauce (they did too!).

Overall, the experience was great. Cold beer, excellent wings, casual atmosphere, personable staff – and good music! I’ll definitely go back. Highly recommend!

This place has a nice vibe. The fried pickles were pretty good, about a 1/3 of them were clumped together and not quite done. The shamrock sauce was horseradishy and creamy. I had high hopes for the rueben but the corned beef was not especially moist. The sauerkraut was piled high, not so much the meat. We ordered the patty melt medium rare and it came out medium well internally but had a thick charcoal char that made it difficult to enjoy. Unfortunately we did not have time to have it made again as we were on a schedule and they were relatively busy. The waitress was super friendly.

This was our third time eating there, so obviously something attracted us back. The Frisco Melt was good according to my partner. My fish and chips were “meh”. I felt like I could have bought a frozen fish and chip entree from the store. The fries and chips served with our meals had been sitting around, granted we ate after a usual lunch hour.

However, I did enjoy their pour of Smithwicks, and the atmosphere is exactly what I’m looking for when I think of cozy Irish pub!

Nice little hometown gem!
My friend and I ordered an appetizer trio to split: loaded fries, fried pickles, and wings.
The wings have their own deliciously unique flavor and are just right so they are crispy but moist.

The loaded fries are steak fries with cheese and bacon, a classic but nothing special.

The fried pickles were great dipped in ranch, I liked that they were thin & not soggy.

Food was okay. They were busy and it’s a small restaurant so it took a while to get a seat. Service was good… but one employee in particular ruined it for us. A taller male with a red car needs to learn how to speak to customers without coming off extremely rude. Honestly will never be back because of him.
