The service at Mamani Dallas is exceptional. The staff is attentive knowledgeable and always ready to help you with recommendations tailored to your tastes. They make you feel welcomed and valued throughout your visit making the entire experience feel special.
The menu offers a diverse range of options with bold flavors that shine through each bite. Whether you’re enjoying appetizers entrees or desserts everything tastes fresh delicious and thoughtfully prepared. It’s clear that quality ingredients and passion for great food are at the heart of this restaurant.
If you want an outstanding dining experience that will exceed your expectations this is the place to go. Mamani Dallas delivers excellent food great service and an atmosphere that makes every meal unforgettable. I can’t recommend it highly enough! ️✨
The artisan bread with imported French butter was incredible. The Hamachi Crudo was fresh and perfectly balanced, and the Agnolotti was rich and comforting without feeling heavy. For mains, the (actually French) Wild Dover Sole with Meyer lemon and brown butter was cooked beautifully, and the Steak was perfectly medium rare and full of flavor.
Cocktails were excellent, and the Paris-Brest was the perfect way to end the meal.
Yes, it’s expensive, but absolutely worth it. Truly a 10/10 experience and we can’t wait to go back.
Upon arrival, valet was seamless and entering the restaurant you’re warmly greeted by the hostess. We were sat in the terrace area (enclosed, had a wonderful temperature even with the windy cold going on outside). Ordered my drink (I got the Hay Jude, and later, a glass of wine) things were going smoothly…
However, a guest with a DOG arrived (seated next to us) and it was shrieking terribly and whiny throughout the entire dining experience. When we thought it had calmed down, “bark, bark”!
We ordered the amberjack crudo, blue crystal pawns, and their homemade bread to start. The crudo and bread were ok (have had better crudo) and I did enjoy the prawns. For the main, I ordered the grilled whole branzino and the pil pil sauce was the highlight of the dish! We also had the paris-brest and vanilla gelato for dessert – both were enjoyable.
Overall, I won’t return and yes, partly due to the dog, amongst other things (having to wait to eat due to not having a fork, small plates). Paying $200 per person, you expect a top tier dining experience (especially with the Michelin star) but today just wasn’t that day.
Our experience was lovely, we were sat on the terrace in a secluded booth and our waiter John was extremely friendly and attentive throughout. All of the staff make sure you are taken care of, well informed of options, and enjoy your meal. Please try each type of bread and butter, its filling but quite good!
Bites:The tuna tart and scallops were sweet and refreshing.
Starters: The cold smoked beets with stracciatella was surprisingly good and the Hamachi with celery/jalapeno broth was probably one of my favorite items of the evening.
Pasta course: The cavatelli with sausage was flavorful-while salty for my taste- it was equally satisfying. The ricotta agnolotti were lovely bursts of sweet and creamy ricotta with a very sweet sauce- Imagine a cadbury egg and pasta.
Main course:
Chef De Lellis personally carved and served this course to all guests and we were surprised by the attention to each diner. We were served a luxurious version of a beef wellington with fois gras, mushrooms, and swiss chard atop the richest chicken fat glaze. This was the highlight of the meal- the beef was cooked to perfection and impeccable soft, the pastry was thin and buttery, the fillings were tender and balanced the richness of the glaze/sauce. If I were to have a final meal, this dish would be it- if you are given the chance, please try it!
Dessert- imagine a hybrid of a bread pudding and tart cherry pie with a rich vanilla gelato topped with even more tart cherries. It was bright and rich, perfect after a heavy meat course and a perfect end to the evening.
At the end of our meal, we were gifted a preview to the bakery opening next door- an almond cake that was filed with poppy seeds, dense, and lightly sweet.
I was thoroughly impressed and grateful for such an experience. We will be back soon and await the opening of the bakery next door.
My husband and I celebrated our wedding anniversary here, and it was our first Michelin Star experience. Van and the team with her were amazing! They took great care of us and were so kind. Every bite we had was delicious! Tables in some spots are extremely close together, which was the case for us, so that made it a little awkward trying to get in and out of our table. However, I didn’t feel like it interfered with us having a nice romantic dinner together because I couldn’t really hear the people next to us.
Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would definitely like to return and try something new!
We were sat on the covered patio, which although it was freezing outside, felt really nice. Our server was very kind and offered to go over the menu with us.
We decided on the bread we bake, blue crystal prawns, amberjack crudo, veal cordon bleu, and the chocolate mousse. We were very happy with all of our choices. The bread and butter was honestly incredible and the veal cordon bleu is served tableside by the head chef which is such a cool experience. The chef had even served another table after he served ours and checked in to see how we enjoyed everything.
I can definitely see why Mamani earned their star and I would be happy to dine with them again.
The food was pretty. It was plated beautifully. The small bites and appetizers and dessert were the best parts. The butter is very good with the bread, which is made in house but not served warm.
The main courses were meh – chicken and lamb chops were OK. Michelin star worthy? IDK
Service, decor, food presentation were fantastic. The food itself was good but not the best of the best. Too noisy to feel romantic. It’s a place for the hip younger Dallas crowd to see and be seen.
We were lucky to get a reservation just after the Michelin announcement, and the experience exceeded every expectation. We had the pleasure of sitting in a booth next to the kitchen and got to watch the magic happen throughout the night. The space itself is stunning, with a modern design and a big open feel that perfectly matches the energy of the restaurant. A special thanks to Allie for taking the time to give us a little tour of the three spaces inside. It truly added to the experience and showed how much care went into every detail.
Each bite was exquisite and full of flavor. Chef Christophe personally came by our table, and we had the pleasure of congratulating him on his well-earned award. We will definitely be back as soon as we can manage to secure another reservation.
What made it worst? I recommended the restaurant for a girls night …. The week of my friend’s birthday
Service? Our server was nice, just non-existent. I mean truly. We probably looked for her about 3, maybe 5 times during our dining experience.
The restaurant? Absolutely beautiful. I loved how minimal and stunning the restaurant was, this is probably the only reason I’d come back, well that chocolate mousse too
The food? It was cool. Didn’t blow us away at all, but I’ll say the service might have affected this. We started off with cocktails, and my girls loved their dirty martinis. I tried the Negroni Spagliato and another I can’t recall the name, loved them both!
Unfortunately we tried to order the bread, there were issues in the kitchen and the bread couldn’t be served. I was actually shocked they didn’t have a replacement ready to go for the bread, or offer something different. This threw us off. Give us fries or something
We had the Croquettes, the Blue Crystal Prawns, and the Hamachi Crudo! Get the prawns and the crudo. The pesto sauce that comes with the prawns, so damn good. I soaked the prawn in it. The crudo, licked the plate. Literally we were starving, I tore it up.
For the main items, we got the Potato Gnocchi, the Truffle Tagliatelle, New Zealand Lamb Chops, and Wanderer Australian Filet Mignon. I’d say the best item was maybe the lamb chop, and honestly this was a force for us. None of these really stood out to us. The gnocchi was taken over by the caramelized onions. Made me sad. We felt like the filet was missing seasoning, and truly needed the sauce it came with.
Thankfully, we ended with one of our favorite items, the Chocolate Mousse. This was just so good, and I’m so glad we had a happy ending, then the check came out we each spent 200 and really only enjoyed the starters, cocktails, and dessert. We actually went somewhere else after.
We didn’t get the same experience as everyone else did and that’s okay. Bravo to a beautiful restaurant, and hopefully a better experience the next time I go. I understand that restaurants have off-nights, and that’s what I’ll go with!
