We stopped into the Fat Shack for dinner yesterday evening. I had the Fat Shack sandwich. It came fresh and hot loaded with cheesesteak, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, french fries and jalapeño poppers with a jalapeño honey mustard sauce. OMG it was delicious. My Mrs had the Fat Jersey. It was loaded with cheesesteak, chicken strips, mozzarella sticks, french fries with a honey mustard sauce. I also had the cheese fries and she had onion rings with ranch.The overall experience was awesome. The food quality was well above excellent. The staff were very friendly and professional at the same time. If I had to criticize any thing it would be that most of the tables were not wiped down after previous guests left. We had to wipe our table but im not mad about it.
I want to thank Fat Shack for bringing a food concept to Sioux Falls that we all wanted but didn’t know we needed.
We will definitely be visiting them often

The menu was decently large to choose from. The staff worked to make slight adjustments as needed for specific reasons of course. Everything was worth it.
The tables needed to be wiped down prior to sitting and were slightly sticky. However, did not kill the “Date Night” vibe. The music choice was good and the food was quick from kitchen to table.
The sauce given with Mac and Cheese bites was “eh” but not horrible and the bites themselves were a mix of really good and some tasting bland. Still recommended though.
Food was taken home due to amount and portion size. Warmed up next day or two and still really good.

I’m a night shift Paramedic in Sioux Falls and finding hot, fresh, made to order food is almost…was almost impossible. Tried Fat Shack tonight while working & it is phenomenal. Everything was piping hot. The Philly was juicy, cheesy, and cooked wonderfully. The bread is soft and pillowy. No soggy buns.
The fried pickles… first off, they are spears. Everyone knows that’s the superior pickle for frying. They were hot, crisp, seasoned well, and cooked to golden crispy crunch. Not burnt or over done. The ranch was the chefs kiss on top.
The staff was very friendly, quick, and were attentive.
Fat Shack you’re doing it right. Just like your motto — you just made late nights right again.

Wow!!! Really unique and super delicious. If you are in the mood for a switch-up from the “same old, same old,” I think it would be hard to find a better spot. I had the “Fat Jersey,” which was delicious and some cheezy fries. The fries were good, nothing too crazy, but thick, good cheese, and a nice addition to the meal. The sandwich is what really stole the show. The pictures don’t do it justice, but this thing was stuffed!! Everything I like – quality cheese steak, fries, a tangy honey mustard that was a great touch, and those fantastic chicken strips. Really good quality chicken. As I was eating it I was like, “this is sort of like a big mac value meal meets a Philly cheesesteak.” Only how you would imagine it though, since they use chicken, not hamburger (obviously) but you kinda get that vibe. Very filling, super satisfying, and the quality is leagues better than a value meal, so no worries there. Very clean, well prepared, delicious food. Can’t wait till the next time I order! Go Vikes, and go Yotes!!

After watching beard meets food doing the fat Shaq challenge and seeing the pitch on shark tank we googled to see where the closest fat Jack was to us we googled and found the closest fat shack to be Sioux falls which is approximately 2 hours from us drove there today met the owner Tyler excellent service excellent food it was well worth our 2-hour drive we would have drove 4 hours we were very pleased with the entire staff the cleanliness of the place highly recommend if you’re in the area or even close by make the trip their wonderful staff there and the food was amazing. Me and the wife both love the honey mustard sauce we are in the kitchen trying to duplicate it it’s that good and we also tried the buffalo ranch another home run sauce

Food was not that good. Kids got mozzarella sticks that were soft and seemed undercooked. The burger was too salty and slightly overcooked. My wife had the worst experience. Her sandwich was completely covered in sauce that overpowered all the other ingredients. The only thing we would go back for would be the milkshakes.

Would have definitely given a better review overall but whoever gave me my online order reached his nasty dripping wet hands into my bag to check if the ranch was in the bag, dripping all over my fries and napkins. I didn’t need him to do all of that. I appreciate the effort to make sure the order was correct but that was disgusting. Who does that? Dry your hands and put on gloves before you start reaching into people’s bag. Smh

Went down to try their burger battle burger. I no idea this place was even here. The burger was amazing and the fries had the perfect crisp to them. The service was excellent as well. Definitely go check them out! I know I’ll be back.

An interesting place for sure. They’ve only been open for a while, so I’ll go back to try it again. Maybe I’m getting old, but the food wasn’t awesome. Some truly fascinating combinations for their Fatty Sandwiches, but the two that I tried didn’t really work. Their fries were good. Their onion rings were mid.
The service was great. Very friendly, prompt, and the prices were way better than expected.
The atmosphere was alright. It’s early in their process, but the space felt cold and a little personality less.
In the end, they are what they say they are. They make crazy food for crazy people to eat in a crazy way.

Husband and I came here for the first time. We are from NE and here for a convention. Came here for late night eats before going back to our BNB.
I got a HALF of a Fat Chance. My god! That’s all I needed! So good! My husband got the whole fat shack and he was over stuffed too.
So skeptical about trying this place and I was wrong. The food sounds like too much or if it would be overly greasy and it isn’t. Great combos. We will be coming back next time we visit in December.
