A beautiful dinner at 1902 with an impressive assortment of dishes that showcased so much technique, depth, and thoughtful flavor. Every plate felt elevated yet comforting, making the whole experience feel special from start to finish. We got:

LOBSTER BISQUE
Silky, warm, and deeply flavored with poached lobster and a drizzle of tarragon oil. The bisque had that perfect balance of sweetness from the lobster and richness from the cream, while the tarragon added a subtle herbal lift. Each spoonful felt luxurious without being overly heavy, and the pieces of lobster were tender and generous.

DIVER SCALLOPS
Perfectly seared scallops with a beautiful caramelized crust, served over a smoked pea and butter emulsion with bacon lardon and tarragon and maple glazed heirloom carrots. The combination of flavors was exceptional—the smoky peas, the sweetness of the carrots, the salty crunch of the bacon, and the delicate, tender scallops came together in one of the most well-rounded plates of the night.

PAPPARDELLE ALLA BOLOGNESE
Fresh pappardelle coated in a slow-simmered sauce made with pancetta, beef, tomato, and Parmesan cheese. The pasta was tender with just the right bite, and the sauce was rich and comforting with layers of flavor from the pancetta and beef. Every bite felt like the best kind of Italian comfort food, hearty but refined.

MOUNT WASHINGTON STICKY TOFFEE PUDDING
Warm, soft, and wonderfully indulgent with bourbon sauce poured over the top and vanilla ice cream slowly melting into the sponge. The flavors of caramel, toffee, and bourbon made it the kind of dessert you wish would never end. A stunning finale to an already memorable dinner.

Everything was so flavorful and delicious. 1902 delivered a dinner that was both refined and deeply satisfying.

We had a wonderful dining experience at the 1902 Mount Washington Hotel Restaurant. Our dinner was excellent, and the service was both professional and friendly. We ordered several classic dishes — shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, and pasta — and each one was prepared beautifully and tasted great. The atmosphere is elegant, and the staff ensures a pleasant and memorable evening. Highly recommend for a refined and enjoyable dining experience.

Breakfast at 1902 Main Dining Room inside the Omni Mount Washington Resort was the perfect way to start our Tuesday morning.

Susan, our waitress, was absolutely phenomenal—so attentive, genuinely kind, and just an all-around amazing human. We felt incredibly lucky to be taken care of by her.

The views were beautiful, the atmosphere was calm and relaxing, The waffle was hands down the best part and the reason we came—The food was great, but the waffle truly stole the show- Worth every bite. ✨

A beautiful setting, wonderful service, and a breakfast we’ll definitely be coming back for.

Beautiful & charming restaurant within the Mount Washington Hotel. We were a party of 5 and all said their dishes were excellent.
Service was appropriate. Not rushed. Allowed time to enjoy the 120+ old architecture. Also, not too long.
Atmosphere is charming and a delight in this modern world.

We were a little skeptical of dining here based on the mixed reviews, but we were pleasantly surprised. The dining room is beautiful and the views are fantastic. We had a party of five and everyone loved their meals, which were very tasty and prepared well. The service was a bit unpolished, which seems to be par for the course in this hotel. When we arrived for our reservation, the hostess took us to the back of the dining room only to realize our table wasn’t cleared/ready. There were numerous tables in the dining room that had not been cleaned and were full of dirty plates/dishes. She then asked us if it would be ok if she pulled a few tables together to make room for us. Again, not a big deal, but not the type of experience you’d expect when paying Michelin Star type prices for dinner.

I always love coming here. It’s an old school dining room owing it roots to the Grand Hotel. Breakfast buffet is pretty good, the kids enjoy the selection. Dinner is on the fancy side (you use to have to wear a jacket) but it is more casual now. Reservations are a good idea especially during busier times. Views are pretty good of Mount Washington, but don’t stress if you don’t get a window seat. Plenty of room on the porch for the views. Service is excellent and the food is outstanding-now it’s generally the same through Stickneys as well.

We stopped here for a cocktail, and were very pleased with our experience! The bar staff was very attentive, friendly, and made great cocktails. We would absolutely return and would like to try their food, as it did look good and the menu was unique.

Do not hesitate to try this restaurant! The food is absolutely delicious, and the view is stunning! My husband ordered the Pappardelle Alla Bolognese, and I ordered the Chicken. I enjoyed my dish, but oh man! The flavor in the Pappardelle Alla Bolognese dish is to die for. Do not pass this dish up! I will definitely be ordering it if we ever find ourselves up in the Mount Washington area again.

Extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. Cuisine was really not up to par. I asked for the tuna carpaccio without wakame and they brought me a flat plate with only tuna and not the rest of the ingredients (minus the wakame). I had to send it back twice.

For the main, I had the polenta/corn/lobster and scallop dish. It was not a 5 star meal. It was 2 stars at best. The corn was over salted and mushy, the lobster and scallops were overcooked and then, there was a huge brick of polenta in the middle of the plate. The flavors were not there and it did not look appetizing at all.

Worst experience of fine dinning in my life. This does not meet the standards of an OMNI hotel and much less of a typical fine dining restaurant. The reservation mentioned the dress code that no one was following, hats, leggings, shorts were allowed, so skip that part and don’t over do it with your outfit because you will be over dressed.

The food, we started with two appetizers which shockingly came in less than 5 minutes of ordering them, that was shocking. Ceasar salad with anchovies, it did not look appealing at all but it was the only dish we actually finished. Lobster Cargot, was explained as if it was made similar to Escargot’s, but all we got was a plate of lightly warm, chewy and oily chopped lobster.

For Entrees which came shortly after the appetizers also took very little time to come out, which being in the food industry myself must’ve been impossible unless they had everything ready and warmed up, catering style. We decided to do the house recommendations of *Pork Chop Schnitzel* with a side of potatoes with bacon pieces and just plain cabbage and a mustard sauce that was missing in action. Salty, dry and completely inedible. Even the potatoes were too much. Next up is the *Honey Roasted Butternut Squash*, which was undercooked, bland and missing the corn tortillas as the menu suggested.

We hoped dessert would be a safe bet but little did we know is how terrible this decision was. Sticky Bread Pudding… this crumbled, and not in our mouths. It was dry, it was bad.

The service was impeccable. The server was in a great mood even when he noticed our dislike for the food, he was attentive, caring, honest and apologetic for things that were out of his control. That was the real fine dining experience, it did not come from the food, but from the only person who seemed to care.

For the amount of money people pay at this place for their dishes and the reputation of this hotel, they should really pay more attention to what they are serving. I had never walked out of a restaurant where I did not like a single dish or have ever returned a plate for not liking it, but every dish come out poorly executed.
