There are not many options for pho downtown. The broth is not super flavorful but probably is intentional for the palettes of corporate workers. I don’t love that it is not served to go separately (which is again is probably catered for the average corporate worker grabbing a quick bite for their lunch break). I like the idea of BYO pho, but wish the broth had more flavor. The spring rolls are great and amazinggg customer service

Honestly I went to this place only by the higher number of ratings when I looked for Vietnamese restaurants to try out a Pho. The restaurant is placed in the middle of a busy downtown building that the size of the place isn’t too generous.

Luckily the restaurant wasn’t too busy on a Friday noon and I got served for lunch within two minutes. This is a quick eat like a Chipotle and I informed the first waitress on the line that I was there for the first time. She got excited and walked me through all the available options in the menu. Since the broth has chicken in it, I decided to pass on the Pho and instead went for a Vermicelli rice salad with veggies.

One by one the waitresses in the line kept stacking different proteins and veggies to the vermicelli and made it look like an art work. The checkout was pretty fast and I got extra soy sauce, crushed peanuts and peanut sauce.

The food was extraordinary without a second doubt. This place is quite small and you will need to be mindful of finishing your meal fast so that others don’t have to wait on you.

Busy spot for the downtown crowd. I enjoyed my vermicelli bowl. Not as good as West Coast Vietnamese but it sure hit the spot after days of burgers and Wisconsin cheeses!

I was really excited to try this place. Online and on the door it said they opened at 11. I waited 10 minutes before even seeing someone. Waited another 15 minutes (25 minutes after scheduled open time) and finally ended up leaving because the gal who I saw in there setting up had left. I missed my lunch break waiting to get service 🙁

Great spot for lunch pho! Served a bit differently than I’m used to, with smaller/thinner noodles, but the flavor is spot on. Good spring rolls as well.

Amazing! I had the Pho, and it was just as good as a Vietnamese restaurant. Great service too (very friendly).

Not many options downtown for pho, but this is decent. Relatively tasty food. Bright and hip ambiance. Small location so hard to find a spot during busy hours, and there’s ALWAYS a line. But I guess that’s like any decently tasty places downtown. Definitely worth checking out if you have a craving for Vietnamese food.

Great spot for Vietnamese in the downtown area. Not quite authentic, but still fresh flavors. The guys behind the counter are super nice. I would definitely try them again. I had a vermicelli bowl and it was delicious, but didn’t quite hit the spot.
