I would like to start by saying this has always had great customer service in the past, and I am a long time customer(over 10 years). But recently there seems to an issue getting your food in a reasonable amount of time. I had to cancel my previous order because when I showed up for carryout(at the app suggested time) I was told it would be another 30 minutes, but when I returned after waiting the additional time I was told the same thing that it would be an additional 30 minutes. I did not have the time to wait longer and had no choice but to cancel and receive a refund. So when I order this time I scheduled my pick up an hour ahead of time, but it was still not ready(had not been prepared yet)when I arrived at the set time. And I had to wait an additional 25 minutes. This store has always been excellent in the past.

Went there for supper tonight and the cheese sticks were burnt up and whoever was making them didn’t know what they were doing or just didn’t care. They were burnt and paper thin you could actually see through them in a couple of places and several had no cheese on them. I called back after my daughter brought them home and the girl I talked to was completely rude and acted annoyed that I even called and what did I expect her to do she said she was the one who made them and sent them out and that there was nothing wrong with them. I told her I would like what I paid for an order of cheese sticks that had cheese on them and were not burnt up and paper thin because someone made the dough wrong. She did finally agree to replace them but acted like it was my fault and I was putting her out. So we have ate at Papa Johns since it was in Morehead but after tonight we will be switching to Dominos they are a whole lot more friendly and they make their food correctly or they replace it without acting like it is the customers fault it’s wrong.

Extremely rude employee that hounds people for tips when they are picking up carryout. They pressured my friend into paying a tip when she was only just there picking up the order that another person paid for.

I never leave reviews but this one couldn’t go unappreciated. The food was hot and fresh, customer service from the person who brought out the order was 11/10, the food itself had more effort put into it than any order I have placed from any restaurant period so far in 2023. Will be recommending to everyone
The pizza had the pepperoni placed in a cute pattern so it wasn’t just delicious but also looked so pretty I almost felt bad eating it, whoever made that pizza didn’t even have to put HALF of that effort in for me to be satisfied, the person who brought out the order curbside also seemed like they genuinely LOVE their job and the vibe and energy they brought out with them made our night
I had ordered for work from here previously but this was the first time I placed an order for just my wife and I but they blew it out of the park, this is now my new favorite pizza place in Morehead and it is not even close.
If you worked night shift here August 14th 2023 genuinely thank you for the awesome experience, was a rough night made so much better from the level of service you all provided
I will be copying and pasting this review to both google and yelp, absolutely phenomenal customer service and quality of food with an unmatched attention to making a person they didn’t even know happy. Will DEFINITELY be back

They were slammed the evening we ordered. Orders were super high but they still remained professional. They apologized for the wait but stayed busy getting orders out.

I already sent the feedback to the store but I’m posting it here too. I ordered for delivery, entered my address wrong, and as a result, the driver didn’t deliver to the correct address. I was called 4 times after initially trying to resolve the issue and when I eventually engaged in conversation, they tried to imply I was lying for free food bc their delivery driver is normally really good. I was not interested in them re-attempting delivery at that point and didn’t really care about a refund. But they sent someone to deliver more food anyway, then told me they couldnt give me a refund, and included 2 free carryout cards as compensation. I am not engaging with your business again, and the cards will be thrown away. I should have just gotten a refund in the first place or not bothered calling to fix it. I would’ve rather not had my food and lost the money than deal w that interaction.

Good customer service with a smile. Pizza is good not delicious like at other Papa Johns. Pizza was hot, fresh, but unfortunately mostly cheese. The meat and vegetables were scarce to non existent. Had I wanted a cheese pizza I’d ordered that instead of paying for a 6 topping one. Disappointed. I feel slightly robbed.

We ordered papa John’s the other night. We did a family special. 2 large pizzas and order of cheese sticks. I don’t know if somebody was sick or something wasn’t cooked right. But me, my fiancé & mother all got food poisoning and was in the hospital all together on IVs from puking papa John’s up 9 hours straight. I felt like I was completely dying.

They were SUPER busy today/ tonight. There was a long line of cars/ customers waiting for orders, but NOT ONE TIME did they look frustrated or upset. They worked to take care of every single customer that was there tonight. Kudos to the team. They were prompt and polite while under all that pressure. The food tasted amazing, and it was piping hot when they handed it over. We really appreciate them and their hard work.
