Refuse to go here anymore because the service absolutely sucks. Rude women at the front, acts like they don’t want to even take your order. Nothing has prices on it??? Total becomes huge after just getting two or three things… seems like they can charge whatever they feel like at that moment (or based on the person). Bread and pastries are good, but not worth the price with that service. I Go to twin bears bakery for better quality, and actual humans who smile and are kind!

What I would call a rustic bakery. Somethings are awesome and others just OK. I like the beef empanadas. Pepperoni rolls not so much. Chocolate croissants are Ok. Breads are good with great variety. If you’re traveling on I70 it’s definitely worth a little detour.

Ordered a Black Forest Cake for my son’s birthday dinner 4 days in advance and paid for it. Went in today to pick it up to find out they gave it away to someone else. Basically, only response was “whoops”. Offered me a cake from choices left in case. If I had wanted a chocolate or vanilla cake I would have gone to a grocery store. Got my $$ back and will never give them my business again.

Went in around 8:45am on a Sunday morning. First time. Bought 2 chocolate eclairs, two raspberry turnovers and 1 chocolate croissant. The eclairs were still frozen from them being thawed the night before (cream had ice crystals, the whole pastry was very cold and still thawing out) and lacked any flavor, the raspberry turnovers were just ok, and the croissant was as hard as a rock (like you could use it as a hammer type hard) – completely inedible. $22 for pastries that you could purchase at a grocery store for less and the same or better quality. I would be ashamed if I sold these to a customer. I get that fresh baked pastries expire rather quickly, but that isn’t a good enough reason to sell them to unknowing first timers. And if these eclairs are shop made (which I doubt), why would you freeze them!? Blimey, I feel like Gordon Ramsey in kitchen nightmares, just full of British disappointment.
I haven’t tried their bread so maybe that’s what they are known for, but I would expect any legit bakery to bake all of their goods fresh everyday.

Cute bakery. Lots of selection. Very fresh. The person at the counter was helpful with selections. Everyone really liked the baked goods.

Went the other day and was absolutely shocked when all I got was (2 cannolis) and the bill was almost ($17 dollars!!!) Absolutely ridiculous! Said they accepted Apple Pay so I just did that, handed the lady my phone not knowing what the total was going to be, so I guess that was my fault for not asking but definitely felt tricked almost. Just because I didn’t want to seem stupid I went to my car but if I could have returned them I would have. Will never go again! I could have gone to the cafe right down the street to get a coffee, breakfast sandwich and a pastry for the same price!! GO to Frederick Coffee Co. & cafe instead you will not be disappointed there.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!!! This is my “go to” place any time I need special treats! Whether for special gatherings such as birthdays, luncheon gatherings, or simply dropping by a friend or relative for a visit and cup of tea. Some of the reviews mention poor service. I can truly say I have NEVER had a bad experience!

Bit pricey – $4 for regular croissant that is small in size.

First time at this bakery. There are no labels or descriptions in front of any of the desserts. I was asking the lady working what the different desserts were. I decided on one and was asking about another. She seemed to be annoyed or frustrated. She asked me if I wanted anything else. I said no and left with nothing. Customer service is very important. It doesn’t matter how good a product is if the staff is rude.
