Our first experience at Joe’s was amazing! The server was just awesome! It made our dining experience so enjoyable! The food was amazing! We got the steam pot for two and there was so much food that we could not eat it all! The corn on the cob was oh so good! My husband loved the crab legs! Thank you for making our first experience a memorial one!

Went out to eat there last week, after not going for about 3 years or so. The outside of the building was the same…..clean, well-lit, easy access, etc. The inside was kinda run-down looking, old, etc. It needs a bit of TLC. The service was average, but the food was really enjoyable. A little pricey for the atmosphere. Would love to see a little remodeling done on the inside, but overall, was a pleasant experience.

One of the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. After about a 25 minute wait we had to wait another 15 minutes to give our drink order. After finally getting our food about 30 minutes later it just wasn’t fresh nor was it appealing. For what we were paying you would think the portion size would be adequate but you apparently won’t find that here.
I left this place highly dissatisfied and definitely won’t be going back. Ever.

Was a little nervous after reading other reviews but it was the closest restaurant to the hotel we were staying in. Had a great experience. My daughter had the shrimp and calamari. My husband had catfish. I ordered the shrimp wrapped in bacon. The waiter warned me that it was spicy and suggested that I try having ranch with it instead of the spicy dip that came with it. I loved it. Aaron really knew what he was talking about.

This was our worst experience ever in Birmingham. Our waiter Rocky or per the ticket Antonio forgot about us half the time. We received our entree before the appetizer and when we brought this up he asked if we still wanted him to put it in. He did not apologize for the mistake. Another server passed by and offered to help us and brought the appetizer to the table. When we received the check we were meet with even more DISAPPOINTING NEWS, our server put the appetizer back on the check!!!! We asked the female waitress and she assured us this would be corrected no need to get the manager involved. The check return and by that time all we wanted to do was pay and leave. Again the appetizer was there and only a couple of dollars was taken off. She apologized again and this time informed us she was trying to help her husband who brought the ticket back for the final time and still did not offer to apologize for any inconveniences. My wife said the meal was good but the service was horrible and our experience was very disappointing.

I had Zac as my waiter and he made the experience ten times better. I loved the food and the environment of the place. The staff and the place itself just gives off a welcoming vibe. The food also was amazing left me speechless. I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone.

We were passing through town and decided to splurge since we don’t have a Joe’s near home. I started out having some sort of grit in my iced tea – probably from brewing but still gross. My husband and I both ordered the Crab Daddy Feast. It’s $32 but we LOVE crab and only get to have it once or twice a year. Talk about disappointment… All of the clusters were missing all but two legs. It’s supposed to come with snow, Queen and King crab but even our server couldn’t tell the difference between the snow and Queen crab – probably because there wasn’t any Queen crab. Our service was less than stellar but we did have a server in training so I’d normally be more than willing to overlook that accept the rest of the visit was just so underwhelming. Two adults, two kids and no alcohol = $125 with tip. What a waste.

Came to joes since we dont have one near us and the Seafood is great but it DOES NOT come as pictured it almost LOOKS like it comes in a lesser quantity.
DO NOT ORDER any type of steak because my wife ordered a 8 oz steak medium well and they gave it to her burned. The fries were super salty and it was just not a good experience too pricey for not that great quality food. Definitely will not be coming back
