Super authentic Korean restaurant! The short rib soup is perfect for a cool day, super clean and delicious broth. The dumplings are also fantastic, full of green onions and flavorful meat. Also ordered the spicy pork bulgogi, which was nicely spiced and so tasty. The sides are all nice too!
Much better than most Korean food I’ve tried in the area, it feels so unique!

There are several Korean restaurants popping up in Pooler, thanks to Hyundai mega plant. It’s a welcoming sight to add more international diversity to this SE Georgia town.
Jin Guk is probably the most authentic and most flavorful restaurant of all Korean restaurants in Pooler. It’s owned and operated by vibrant and gifted, 77 year old lady and her 81-year old husband.
The menu is limited but has enough variety of dishes for all tastes. The seafood scallion pancake was packed with ingredients, and the batter is crisped to perfection. Banchans (sides) were truly tasty balanced with sweet and sour; black bean noodles were the best I had in GA, not to mention the classic bulgogi had a fantastic balance of flavor. My chef friends have texted me how great her spicy pork feet (specialty of the house).
The owner was so kind and chatted at our table as if we were at her home. Great food, great experience, highly recommend if you want truly authentic food.

I recently moved to Savannah for my U.S. Army duty station and stopped by this restaurant because I was craving Korean food. Since I came alone, no one really paid attention to me at first, but they did take my order once I sat down.
There seemed to be two Korean owners, and they mostly focused on their regulars before heading to the back.
If you’re someone who enjoys eating alone without small talk, this place is actually a great fit. Just don’t expect greetings or much interaction. The food itself is definitely tasty!

Very small restaurant. But the quality of the food is excellent. The ban chan was the best i have had in Savannah area. Small menu with great taste. I have another visite scheduled so keep an eye out for that review.

Underwhelming upon arrival, looks are deceiving! Service was great, the food was hot, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere became cozy and welcoming once seated. Definitely a “treat spot” from now on… worth the hour drive!

Had an amazing Korean dinner — I ordered the short rib soup, and it was absolutely fantastic. The place was packed with Korean customers, which says a lot about how authentic it is. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in Savannah so far!

We really enjoyed all of the foods here. Cold noodles were the best in my opinion, both with broth and without. 제육볶응 was really good. 순대국밥 and 돼지국밥 were both amazing, but I preferred 순대국밥 more. 짜장면 was the least favorite one. It was a pity that we were not able to try 간짜장, and I heard that is really good. Unfortunately, 간짜장 was not available due to the chef’s vacation, so we had 짜장면 instead. 짜장면 was okay, but not like really good ones in other great k-restuarants.

I’ve been to this place a few times before, but I’ve never been this disappointed. The staff seemed busy cleaning empty tables, and no one gave us menus for several minutes until we asked. If they were that busy, wouldn’t it have been better to let us know? We ordered half & half jokbal and galbitang, but they didn’t bring any rice. I remember rice used to come with the galbitang before. Also, the glass noodles in the galbitang were really soggy, and the galbitang taste wasn’t the same as before. The staff wasn’t very efficient — they brought the scissors, bowls, napkins, and plates one by one instead of all at once. There aren’t many Korean restaurant options in Pooler, but I’m not sure if I’ll come back again.

Authentic Korean flavors at their best. The Sundae-gukbap tastes just like Korean! Everything on the menu is great, but I’d personally pick the Sundae-gukbap and Galbi-tang as the top choices.
