The service here is outstanding! Quaint little spot with plenty of room still to hold eight of us!
All the dishes that we ordered were fantastic as you can see in the pictures. Fresh in tasty.I recommend the beef dish with the bone. I enjoyed the black or purple rice that they served and asked for multiple bowls of that.
They serve you with a pot of tea and a pot of water to share. Parking can be slightly tricky, but there is a parking lot next door along with street parking.

We came to Han Sang for their galbi jjim (braised beef short ribs w/extra meat, plus cheese $100.) The restaurant was full at around 6:30pm on Thursday. The galbi jjim dish was enough for four people. The short ribs was served with the bone. We tried to use the scissors to cut the meat ourselves and failed hard. The Thai waitress was nice enough to do it for us when she saw us struggling. The short ribs were delicious. Moist, soft and full of flavor. The secret might be that it was served piping hot on an iron skillet mixed with Japanese pumpkin (kabocha), radish, rice cakes, glass noodles and green onions. For our appetizer, we had the tofu soup with bits of beef rib and pork belly ($25.) This was also delicious. Good job everyone at Han Sang.

OMG I knew nothing about this restaurant but we chose it because that’s where we found a parking space, rock star. It was meant to be. Everything was delicious. From the kimchi to the beef tongue to the tofu soup with the dumplings, to the beef tendon soup (after adding salt) and the spicy noodles. I already want to eat there again. Tomorrow.

While in the Millbrae area, discovered a Korean restaurant called Han Sang. Decided to check it out for lunch to see what they have. I ordered their Yuk Gae Jang, while my wife ordered their Soft Tofu Soup with Beef Ribs and Rice Cake. The Yuk Gae Jang is a spicy beef brisket soup. It comes with glass noodles, mushrooms, bean sprouts, and egg. The flavor for both the Yuk Gae Jang and Tofu Soup had a good flavor. Though I would say the meat amount for the dishes were a bit lackluster for the price. The banchan could use a bit more variety, as it included only kimchi, fish cake, and radish. Their menu had a good variety of dishes, so mayhaps I’ll try their other dishes next time.

The restaurant is within the Broadway main street, so prepare to take some time to look for parking. The interior of the restaurant is simple, but clean. It is quite spacious, with a good amount of seating. The staff were sincere and professional, with good service. Their menu has a variety of selections. From appetizers, to sul long tang, soup, BBQ, Jjim, and Suyuk-Geongol. If you enjoy trying different Korean food, this is a good place to try.

Okay, so this was my first time hitting up this place, and I was not disappointed! I’m a huge fan of broth, and their beef broth choices were totally awesome. The beef bulgogi was solid, and I really love that purple grainy rice. Everyone working there was super friendly, and the service was quick. Overall: I had a great experience.

We came here after seeing the place on TikTok and honestly wish we hadn’t. The restaurant was pretty empty when we arrived, so we figured service would be quick. Instead, we sat for over 10 minutes with no one acknowledging us. Two different tables were seated on both sides of us after we arrived, and both of them had their orders taken immediately—while we were still sitting there confused and ignored.
It genuinely felt like we weren’t a priority because we aren’t Asian. The whole interaction was uncomfortable, the service was unapologetic, and we felt totally disregarded.
We ordered the Buchu-jeon as an appetizer, but it didn’t come out until after our main dishes. At that point it defeated the purpose, so we returned it.
For mains, I got the Yukgaejang. It was spicy but also bland at the same time, with barely any shredded beef—and the little that was in there was dry and overcooked. My friend got the Galbi Tang and it was honestly shocking: her soup had maybe two tiny pieces of meat and a pile of cabbage. She couldn’t even finish it because it was so disappointing.
We spent $55 for two soups that were honestly awful. Bad service, bad portions, bad experience overall. Definitely not coming back.

3 of us came here for dinner earlier this week. My husband found the restaurant on Yelp! and it turns out to be one of our friend’s favourite restaurants in the area.
We ordered the following dishes:
– Gal Bi Jim – My husband would not stop talking about it. The sauce was rich and flavourful and the short ribs just melted in your mouth.
– Dolpan Bibimbap – The rice was perfect;y cooked with a slightly crispy bottom. The portions of rice, meat and vegetables were very well balanced.
– Han Sang Guk Bap – The best part of the noodle soup was the broth. It was so tasty. I had every last drop of it with my side purple rice.
– Yuk Hwe – I’m usually impartial to beef tartare but it was better than some of the beef tartares I had in Paris!

The staff was friendly and attentive. The double door menu was a nice touch. The restaurant seemed very busy and for good reason. Service was prompt and well presented. I had the Bulgogi Soup and it was very hearty and flavorful with generous portions.

If you are looking for the service and atmosphere in a resturant,, this is the place . The place was clean and spacious. Plenty of parking around the area.
In terms of the food , totally not what I was looking for. The amount paid basically was more to the service and the atmosphere. I can’t say the food was not good , but just not worth this price point. Food was simple and blend and over piece.
I don’t think I will consider coming again. There are more authentic Korean food around the area.
