Great lunch spot. Food is always good, service is fast. The quality and quantity of food is well worth the low cost. Eat here couple times a month. Kinda surprised it doesn’t get busier.

If I could give Malcolm’s Bar and Grill less than one star I would. I can’t imagine who came up with this new menu but it is absolutely horrendous! If you are looking for a quick bite or lunch it might be just ok; however if you are looking for a nice dinner….forget it…stay away! The food was terrible! Not to mention the price for what they have to offer in addition to an automatic 20% percent service charge that does not include the server’s tip. The server was very nice; however we sat outside and all the tables were dirty as well as the floor looked like it hadn’t been swept for days. We always enjoyed going here, but unless something changes we won’t be back!

Delicious pasta, shrimp, and vegetables meal on my end, also fish tacos, and chicken bowl. Can’t believe we found this gem. Super nice chef Gus and Sous Chef Mike we just met them. Relaxed and nice atmosphere on a Saturday night. Def coming back soon.

Went there to experience Dinner Detective Murder Mystery.
The show was good but the food was practically inedible. The chicken was so overcooked you couldn’t cut it with a knife! I skipped the fish. It didn’t look well. The vegetarian option, Ratatouille was an over cooked mess of squash, zucchini, etc cooked down until it was unrecognizable from 1 vegetable to another.

We had reservations when we got there. There was no hostess. We waited 10 minutes. Employed looked at us, and then looked away. We finally asked the bartender. He told us to sit anywhere. We sat at the table 20 minutes, still numerous people walking by no greeted us or even took a drink order. I decided to go look at the food as Malcolm‘s prime rib buffet used to be the best in town. It looked horrible. We waited 10 more minutes. No one bothered to still come by on the way out we told someone we’re leaving and they pretty much didn’t care will never go back. It used to be our favorite place to go in Daytona. Such a shame

We attended a company Christmas party. The food was good, the decor passable.

We live the neighborhood and have tried to be supportive of Malcolm’s for the past year, but this month we canceled our membership. The food is ok, it’s mostly bar food. The service is very inconsistent. For instance, recently we were the only customers and no one came back to our table after the food was delivered. We finally went to the bar in order to pay our bill. Surely with decent food and service in a large neighborhood this place could be successful. Right now it is not.

Malcolm’s Bar and Grill on the LPGA Golf Course in Daytona Beach is an absolute gem. The rib eye steak is cooked to perfection, offering a rich, juicy flavor that’s hard to beat. The fresh sauces and salad dressings add a distinct and delightful taste to every dish. Since the change in management, the food has become even more fresh and delicious, enhancing the inviting atmosphere of the place. The super friendly staff is a testament to the new management’s focus on quality and service. Kudos to them for introducing fun new events and educational dinner themes that showcase their deep dive into diverse cuisines. A truly stellar dining experience!

We were so happy when we saw the Facebook post this week that Malcolm’s was having the prime rib again. Made a reservation for 6:30. Arrived to find no hostess,so walked up to the bar. Stood for a few minutes before bartender looked up.
Told him we had reservations for dinner and he looked at me like a cow looking at a new gate. Finally he said find a table anywhere. As we walked thru, wenoticed that it looks like the carpet hasn’t been cleaned since last time we were there, pre-COVID.
We found a table for the 3 of us and waited to order a drink. . . And waited . . . And waited.
Waitresses walked past our table several times and none spoke a word to us. I finally got up and took a look at the carving station and was very underwhelmed by the empty salad station, shriveled potatoes and small roast they were slicing.
This used to be one of the most impressive Prime Rib dinners available.
We were so disappointed that after more than 30 minutes of being ignored we finally got up to leave.
On the way out I said to the server tapping on the computer that we had a 6:30 reservation and since it was 7:15 we were leaving. She shrugged her shoulders and with a couldn’t care less tone in her voice said “Okay”.
Not sure what has happened, is this the future of dining out?
No management, no supervision, no care to satisfy the customer.
We won’t be going back, and would caution anyone thinking about going.

Went with a party of 9 for Easter buffet. Good variety of food, friendly, helpful service. Dessert and self serve bottomless mimosa bar was fun too!
