I don’t normally leave bad reviews, but my experience here was truly disappointing. I ordered fish plates, and they came out burned — not slightly overcooked, but actually overcooked in old grease. The rice was plain, completely unseasoned, and tasted like it came straight from a microwave eggs were slimy. This business is unprofessional they even refused to refund or remake. Keep your money!!!! They make excuses for giving trash food and it isn’t right I spent over 50$ here.

Stopped by for lunch. Nice old man at the register. Got a chicken strip combo and a shrimp combo for 9.99 each. Food was made to order. The meat portion was decent for the price and tasted good. Really good cocktail sauce. Could’ve had more fries or a roll or something to fill in the box better. Definitely worth supporting local. Two small tables if you want to eat there.

Been coming here for years and they don’t miss. If you like things fried, this is the spot. I get the same great goodness everytime I go. The service is great, as well as, the food. It’s pretty much a grab and go spot. Only enough space to wait, not much for dining in. Everything on the menu that is fried, is fried to perfection. This is my go to for fried gizzard, shrimp, and catfish. Although the gizzard come in a 6 or 9 count, they always give a few extra.

I ordered 2 thighs, 1 fish & fries. I examined the contents while standing at the counter and found that one of the thighs is actually the back portion of the chicken, where the thigh meets the back while the thigh itself is missing. I could see where the whole thigh bone had been cutoff. At this point the owner has already taken my money. I’m pointing out to him that this is not a whole chicken thigh. So he put my change on the counter -trying to convince me otherwise. He turned the lights off twice and locked the door, claiming that they were closed so that I wouldn’t be able to take pictures of this order before leaving. He refuses to make amends either by replacing the piece or reimbursing a portion of the cost. Clearly, this is NOT two thighs.
I parked at least 10 parking spaces from Crispy due to availability. I get in my car, look up and this man is hastily walking in front of it with his phone to take pics of my vehicle and tells me; “The police is coming”. Because of that I stayed parked & waited. I was not about to risk him fabricating the story. Two officers came, spoke to both of us (and a witness in my defense came back-that was nice of her). One officer asked the Crispy Seafood owner if he was going to reimburse me in some way or risk me filing charges (he pushed me trying to get me out). The owner angrily, with arms waving, said; “No”. WOW. What a sad soul!! While still in the presence of the policemen, I looked in the owner’s face and told him, “I feel sorry for you-that kind of a heart” and, “because of my Christian values it’s not worth it”.

My first time here since I noticed the place when I was visiting the business next door. The atmosphere is nice and clean. The host was very polite and friendly. I ordered the Fish Burger combo that came with fries and canned drink. I loved the meal. The fries had slight seasoning that made them perfect. I now have a new place to get food for when I am getting takeout food.
