Lakayanm Restaurant is a hidden gem tucked inside of a busy strip mall off of College Street in Orange Park, Fl. What the place lacks in interior ambiance, it more than makes up in the taste and flavor in the food. My wife ordered the fried snapper and I had the fried turkey meals. The food was plentiful, flavorful and delicious. This is traditional Caribbean food so you will have to wait when you order (food made to order) and there will be bones in your meal. This is definitely a work of love. I was surprised that the place was not busy during the lunchtime rush but with the way this food tasted, hopefully that will change. The parking can be a challenge because this strip mall is busy but it is free. Check this place out, you won’t be disappointed.

The meat was crispy, tender and cooked right on the bone! You also get a large amount of food with your order, and everything is prepared fresh! We got the grio & the stewed chicken the grio was fried perfectly crisp and the stewed chicken you can tell was fried first and then stewed, legit fell off the bone. & that sauce? Could not get enough! I legit could have drank it like broth everything was good on its own. The food, the music the vibe 10/10 would definitely recommend
