I cannot say enough great things about this location, the food and the staff. My family reserved Sweet P’s at The Tavern today for a memorial service for a loved one we lost. Paula, Risa and the whole staff treated us so kindly and sweetly. They made sure we had the space and respect to set things up how we wanted to and waited on us as if they wanted to take care of us and have nothing to worry about. Paula made sure we wanted or needed nothing. She has kept this location still looking as beautiful as ever and preserved the history that’s so rich throughout this location. I will forever adore Paula and her staff. I recommend this location to anyone who needs a place that’s as beautiful and amazing as this. If I could give them ten stars I would!!

I visited for the first time today and I’ll definitely be back. The place was crowded when we got there, but we had no difficulty getting seated as the church crowd was leaving. The food on the buffet was excellent, as was the service. The waitress even located a piece of German chocolate cake for my companion as there weren’t any available on the desert table. I highly recommend dining here.

The setting has potential after a deep clean of EVERYTHING. I mean everything.
Sans the child, yes child, that waited on us, didn’t seem as though anyone working there wanted to be there. Food on the buffet was mediocre at best, no idea what the rest of our party thought of their food…after a 30 minute wait to place orders and an hour+ wait for salads/sandwiches, we had to leave.
Zero idea how they have 4.3 stars!
I hope they take the most recent reviews to heart and make necessary improvements.

We found Sweet P’s 4 years ago and have driven down from Ringgold many times just to eat there. We are never disappointed with the food or the service. Both are always great! They recognize us and greet us by name, and we always feel like we’re eating with friends!

We stopped by here for lunch on our way to Atlanta. The service was super friendly, prices were incredibly reasonable, and the food was good with generous portions. I got the Philly cheese steak with a side of fries and she got a grilled chicken salad that was massive. Service was a little slow considering how not busy it was but I would gladly return again. It was all $21 plus tip. Thanks, Sweet P’s!

We drove from Rome after hearing my aunt give Sweet P’s high praise and I have to say we were not disappointed! From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted like family. The sweet ladies that took our order were super nice and helpful. They constantly came around and checked on us and asked if we needed anything. The food was absolutely delicious and well worth the drive! Would definitely recommend this beautiful restaurant! We will be back for the amazing service and food!
