I really liked this restaurant. The tacos were absolutely delicious and the drinks were perfect. The inside was a family friendly environment. The service was good and the restaurant was also very clean.

If 0 was possible, it would happen. Ordered steak tacos that came totally plain, and tasted odd. Dry. Burrito had so little meat in it, you could hardly taste it. Should have read the recent reviews before trying this local joint.

From the exterior the restaurant may appear fast food-ish. It is not. Seating is appointed, and the atmosphere is open, contemporary, and inviting.

We went for the food. It was everything my foodie friend claimed. Excellent in every way.

Service from the moment we entered until we departed, including at leaving, was friendly, attentive, and timely.

Visited Lago Tacos for my wife’s birthday. I had Levi order for me, and was served, as hoped, something I never would have ordered for myself – Birrio Taco. As is frequently the case, Levi said it is one of his favorites. It was a different flavored fried taco way too full of cheese and what I think was barbacoa. It was really good and worth ordering again. My kid had the smothered burrito – it was huge and delicious. The restrooms were clean and had paper towels instead of those awful blowers. I will take a 10th of a point off the service rating because my Diet Coke was refilled with water……

This establishment was easy to find. The decor is really nice and the layout works well. The customer service was spot on, fast and friendly. I enjoyed eating the Grilled shrimp tacos in soft corn tortillas. The two family members that were with me, one had the Enchiladas Special and the other had the appetizer of nachos piled with meat, cheese, guacamole, sour cream, pico. The plate was full and could have fed three people. All 3 meals were flavorful and delicious. There is plenty of parking and seating. I would recommend dining here.

A great spot for Mexican. Used to go to this spot when the previous restaurant was there but when we heard this place was just as good we had to check it out.

Great atmosphere, & comfy seating though booths may be a little tight for bigger guests. We made it work just fine though. There are tables too!

Server was great, & friendly. Checked in just the right amount of times & helped with a few recommendations.

All four of us shared 2 orders of the Chips & Dip (subbed queso on both). The guac is so good!! I could eat it every day. For entrees the other two in our party had 3 tacos each. The first had Firecracker Shrimp, Sesame Chicken, Barbacoa which they loved the shirmp & chicken, barbacoa with a side of rice, they weren’t a huge fan of but said it was still good. Second had the Firecracker Shrimp, Spicy Fried Chicken, & Guava BBQ Pork with a side of a corn bread cake & they said it was all delicious. My husband had the 3 Birria Tacos & loved the dipping sauce that came with them as well as the flavor of the tacos. I had the Sesame Chicken Bowl which was fantastic. The chicken was juicy & flavorful, rice was great, the slaw had a surprise kick from jalapenos so watch out for that if you don’t like spice!! The only bummer which doesn’t deserve a star loss is the beans were a little lack luster for me. Just a tad more seasoning is needed but good mixed in with the rice & a little queso.

I also had a margarita called the Hot Honey Peach & it was phenomenal!! The sweetness of the peach juice hits you first then after you feel the touch of heat from the hot honey. It’s subtle so it doesn’t stop you from wanting more.

Can’t wait to come back & try something else from the menu!

Mix and match chicken tacos are around $10 for two and $14 for three. The burrito was large for $15 (before sauce). Flavor was good all around she loved the Fried Avocado, we both thought the Spicy Fried Chicken was a dry. The Chicken Tinga in the burrito was better. That being said the basic prices are reasonable but start losing value quickly, add $3 to smother the burrito in sauce, which it needed, was a head scratcher. $8 for a basic happy hour marg plus $1 for a flavoring doesn’t feel all that happy. Chips and salsa surprisingly aren’t included and seem expensive for what it is, and then there’s the $20 quesadilla, probably not bringing the kids…
The space is nice, lacks personality but is new and clean. Service was friendly but when you walk in the first table appears to be the employee break room, a distracting cluttered gathering spot. Overall the food is fine but we didn’t leave feeling like we had a $55 lunch before gratuity – not sure what the value proposition is here. Check them out before they’re gone but you’re more likely to catch us eating HH tacos at Birch’s or enjoying the better experience and value offered at Rojo’s.

This was my 1st time eating at this place. I order my food to-go, the cashiers were very nice. Recorded my order exactly the way I requested “3 Tacos with NO Onions”.

Didn’t take long and the food was hot. Went home, as I was finally getting settled and ready to eat.

I smell Onions! I looked at my receipt, documented just as I requested. SOOOO, I have to get settled and pack up the food and go back to the restaurant.

I entered and asked to speak with the manager, to explained the situation.

No Yelling or Going Off (At least not yet).. I wanted to give them a chance to correct the error.

The manager came up I requested my food be made over the way it was recorded on the receipt.

The was happy to correct the situation. They offered me pop as I waited!

Not only did the manager make the corrections exactly how I requested in the beginning. They gave me a Gift Card for the inconvenience.

The tacos are big and ingredients fresh and flavorful. We had carnitas (pork), guava BBQ pork, firecracker shrimp, and barbacoa. They were all excellent. When I return, I’ll order 2 guava BBQ pork as they are so good. Mind you, the zesty firecracker shrimp is quite tempting too. The menu offers many options to explore. Portions are generous. I was hungry but two tacos plus our order of chips and guacamole was all I could eat. I guess I’m a two taco guy. The venue is large with ample seating – including outside when the weather warms up. The staff was friendly and service professional. It has a very upbeat vibe. Family friendly too! They have a couple of TVs mounted high. I find them unnecessary and distracting, but I guess some people like to watch sports while eating out. Ample free parking outside in the lot. I’m glad a good Mexican restaurant has moved into town. I’ll be back.
