Awesome little spot old school bar counter top..i like 2 get a grilled dog and a grilled Burger .. Unless I’m there on Friday for fish-and-chips the absolute best I’ve ever highly recommend trying their fishing chips on Friday super fresh I get potato salad and bake beans instead of fries reminds me of a summer cook out.. The owners are there everyday cooking.. The waitresses are super friendly.. And have become good friends of mine..A great great little spot..

Had a lobster roll and fries. It was awsome! The fries tasted like they were done in fresh oil. Not greasy at all. Fish and chips also great, not greasy. All in all my first experience was great. Would go there again.

This place is definitely one of those places you want to go eat at, the name might throw you a little curve on your decision to eat here but just look past that. Doghouse is definitely a place that myself my girlfriend and her aunt love going to for a good loving family meal. I can’t say anything bad about them, from the time you walk in the hospitality is in the air even before being greeted. There’s a certain feeling of love and comfort that overfills the air. The staff treat you like family and the cooks exquisite family kitchen style recipes are absolutely to die for. If you want to feel that loving comfort feel with loving comfort food this is the place for you. They have been around since the 1965 maybe longer and there are faces who just keep coming back and when you meet them they tell you stories on when doghouse first opened. Personally an inspiration in the food world and a must try to believe love and comfort food family restaurant.

Excellent old time diner atmosphere. My steamed hot dogs reminded me of the hot dog carts in NYC from my youth. The service was excellent and the menu has a nice variety of good food. It is cash only, so be prepared.

What a great place. We brought 14 people for my dad’s birthday! The food was awesome! The French meat pie was almost as good as Memere’s! Delicious. The staff was courteous and did there job well. Thanks for a great night!!

Don’t be fooled by the name or the outside appearance.While they do serve hot dogs this is not a hot dog joint.
They offer a good variety and feature daily specials in a clean environment. The seafood is at a quality level hard to duplicate anywhere. The owner insists on only the freshest seafood and prepares it perfectly.

The Dog House is a people friendly atmosphere and family owned.. I ordered a cheeseburger and fries since I have been craving this for about a week. The cheeseburger was adequate but small in size. I won’t order it again. The fries – I wouldn’t recommend. They were tasteless and tough to chew. They do have some good homemade food and I will go back but not for my old favorites.
