Porch+Vine is the newest fine-dining destination in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley. Set within a large historic house in downtown Luray, our restaurant blends modern craftsmanship with the warmth of home. Executive Chef Mathew Chapman, from the Dallas culinary scene, brings live-fire artistry to modern takes on classic American dishes—transforming comfort into sensory experience. Just minutes from Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns, our intimate dining rooms and garden veranda offer relaxed sophistication. The average guest spends $40–$60 before wine. Attire is “Luray Casual” or “Shenandoah Chic”: comfortable, refined, and welcoming—some guests dress up, others keep it simple; the atmosphere is always easy and inviting.

We were in town for 2 nights and came here twice. Both nights sat at the bar and the service from Sky was top notch. First night we had sides – the deviled eggs were ok but the Brussels spouts were amazing. Second night we just had dessert – the chocolate orange cheesecake. Decadent!

We dined at Porch & Vine last night and had a wonderful experience. We ordered a sampling of most of the menu to experience everything. The devil eggs were wonderful, the butternut squash was incredible and the brussel sprouts were by far our absolute favorite, perfectly roasted. The Grove Mill Sauvignon Blanc was also amazing! The entire meal was so full of flavors. Absolutely what we need in Page County! Highly recommend.

We are locals but drive and travel frequently just for good food. We have been sleeping on this local gem!!
Highly recommend!! The only complaint, which is very minor is i wish we could have tried the bread we saw other tables getting. But we got the deviled eggs as an appetizer and they did not disappoint!!

We were here this evening and had an absolutely wonderful experience at Porch & Vine. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by a great hostess who immediately set the tone for a special night out. Our server, David, was fantastic, attentive, personable, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially when it came to the wine list. His recommendations paired perfectly with our meal and really elevated the experience.
We started with the house made rosemary focaccia bread service, which was delicious, fragrant, and perfectly baked. For our entrées, we enjoyed the steak with a blue cheese crust, and the chicken chasseur.
Both were rich, beautifully prepared, and full of flavor. For sides, we shared the cavatappi pasta and the brussels sprouts, and the brussels sprouts were hands down the best we have ever had.
Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, and the attention to detail really stood out. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between elegant and welcoming, making this an ideal spot for a date night or a special occasion. Porch & Vine is truly a gem in Luray, and we cannot wait to return.

A 10/10 experience in Luray! The restaurant is beautiful and intimate—perfect for a date night. Felicia provided top-tier service, but the Apple Crumble Cheesecake stole the show. I have to say that we live in King George, we came to Luray Caverns and stop here to eat on our way back. The owner greet us , we felt so welcome , even when we didn’t have a reservation , they accommodate us. Gave us a little history of the place.. the atmosphere, the food, the service.. all you can expect when paid for fine dining. I recommend this gem a 1000%. Will repeat.. even my 7 year old was fascinated with the food!!
