This place was a great place to rat. Everything we ordered was delicious. The snapper was so flavorful with garlic and butter. The drinks were good and our bartender Jada was very good!

Went there for a quick drink and light bites! Sat at the bar and the service was great! My bartender/server (didn’t catch his name) was attentive and great at what he does. Very accommodating and made one of the best strawberry margaritas I’ve ever had, not too sweet and plenty strong and perfect hint of fresh strawberry flavor!
I ordered the fried oysters and two of the fried fish tacos! Fried oysters were ok! Could be a lil plumper oysters, but crispy. However the highlight has to be the fried fish tacos omggg the fish was huge and so flakey and moist and tender. With the chipotle aioli it was perfect!! Almost ordered a 3rd one!!!

Ummm half of tacos on Tuesday! I’ll now be there every Tuesday. It was raining after a class and I didn’t want to walk in it to get to the garage so I stopped here. For 2 tacos and a coke it was like $8. The breaded shrimp taco was so good I’m going to get 2 of that next time. Service was fast and I love that she gave me the receipt and I could scan the QR code to pay. So much easier! Thank you for being so delicious!

Got really sick from the oysters. My mistake for eating them but that’s what I get from trusting a restaurant that is nowhere near the coast. Didn’t think to search it on the internet before eating and just thought they were different. They smelled of ammonia and no amount of lime and tobasco sauce could get rid of the weird taste. I have learned my lesson but I don’t think they should be serving stuff like this. maybe staff needs to learn how to check if food is still ok to serve.

Absolutely amazing – the food was incredible!!! Out of everything we tried, the ceviche stole the show. The street tacos are on the cheaper side giving great value for the taste!! I had the shrimp tacos. The red snapper was larger than others I have had in the US and cooked perfectly. The staff were so kind, too. Anytime I come back to El Paso, this is the one place I’ll be eating!!

Hilda was so incredibly kind and attentive! We loved having dinner her and felt treated so well The atmosphere, the music, the service and the food were just wonderful. We loved the fish ceviche and the fish taco especially. The salmon tostada was super tasty too! Thank you Hilda for making our evening so lovely ♥️

I ordered the Calamari for an appetizer and popcorn shrimp. Both were very good. Light batter that was crispy and not oily. The Calamari was tender and cooked just right, as was the shrimp. There was plenty of Calamari, so it could be a meal on its own. The dip that came with it was tasty. The shrimp came with fries and, again, cooked just right. It’s a nice place to meet friends and have drinks and a meal. So I gave it a rare, for me anyway, 5 stars.

Lapa Lapa has officially become my go-to seafood spot—and honestly, I’m not sure why I didn’t leave a review sooner. This is probably my 10th visit, and every single time, it hits just right.
I always come back for the Marinero rice (so comforting and flavorful), the Lapa tostada (fresh and zesty), and the Marlin quesadilla, which is smoky, cheesy perfection. Oh—and the Clamatos? Best in town, hands down.
Whether I’m craving something refreshing or full-on indulgent, Lapa Lapa delivers every time. Consistent flavors, great portions, and that relaxed, coastal vibe I never get tired of.
10/10 recommend—already looking forward to visit #11.

Clean and sharp looking place. Sit at the bar and enjoy a great selection or alcoholic beverages and finger foods while you catch a football game or sit down and have a nice dinner. Food was amazing and very affordable. The staff was welcoming and pleasant. Spoke English and Spanish fluently.
