Picked up food… 2 orders of sesame chicken…was in a red sauce . Very “bready” the fried rice was greasy tasting w nothing in it ..just rice. Bought it for 2 people …one threw it out and the other ate most of it but didn’t want to order from there again

Employees were kind and inviting, food was timely made and wasn’t bad, I put mustard on it without thinking before I took the picture it was light on the chicken n broccoli sauce but the broccoli was beautifully “extra cooked” upon request. next time I will be asking for extra sauce on the chicken n broccoli but they did give me plenty of packets of sauce after i asked for them. I read allot of bad reviews but still gave this a chance, I do not regret it. Lunch under $10 without a drink or egg roll though no biggie. Pork fried rice has plenty of meat pieces as well #satisfied

Always on the lookout for a decent local Chinese restaurant. Garden Chen definitely fit the bill because it’s the only local one!
The place was clean. Still felt like it was in the pandemic era with plastic sheeting around the counter.
But my order of steamed dumplings and general tsos chicken were pretty good. No complaints!
The only thing to be aware of is they only take cash… Not a big deal but just don’t be surprised!

They only take care of the pickup orders first. If you’re a walkin expect an extremely long wait.

The food was excellent. I had shrimp and broccoli, my friend had combination plater pork lo mein which comes with pork fried rice and a egg roll, my nephew had general so’s chicken combination plater no spice, both said it was very good. Also had chicken noodle soup and friend had wonton soup.. It was all very good.

I ordered a sesame chicken dinner combo and an order of crab rangoon. This was my first time here. The restaurant was very cold inside (January and I don’t think they run the heat at all…so only warm if you’re actually the one cooking). They only accept cash, which is very annoying these days.
The sesame chicken was fine, but the fried rice was terrible. Very dry, no flavor, and had the consistency of boil-in-a-bag rice. And the crab rangoon were way over cooked; a dark brown and very crunchy. The lady even gave them a double take as she pulled them from the fryer, but served them to me anyways. She was eating in the back when I got there to pick up my order and it seemed as though she had forgotten about the items in the fryer until she started to look for the pieces of my order.

Good, little stingy with the sauce packets not gonna lie, gotta tell them 3 times ” EXTRA HOT MUSTARD” then when the girl only puts two in you gotta say “I ordered $80 worth of food, I’m gonna need a few more” that might just be a me problem tho. But yeah nice people & good super fresh food
