One of my favorite spots for lunch! Really friendly service and great atmosphere. We got the Mortadella and Prosciutto sandwich. Definitely recommend!

Both guys who work the counter are super informative and very helpful. And I’ve never once seen them unhappy to serve. Food is fantastic!! Love the chicken parm sandwich but they do run out so get it early

If you’re looking for some authentic Italian sandwiches, pasta or merchandise come here! I loved it the moment I walked in, it’s clean, and plenty of things to look at while waiting. The woman described the sandwiches so well and sold us on the Parm Prosciutto! The bread is baked fresh everyday as well. Will be back!!

I came to Long Beach from Eugene, Oregon to spend Christmas last year with family and we had sandwiches from Angelo’s. I have been craving another one ever since. It was THAT GOOD! I am returning this Christmas and that sandwich is the first thing I order after landing!

I usually order the torpedo but I was craving some mortadella. So I got the mortadella and I got the wife the torpedo. I think the torpedo is better than the mortadella. Mortadella flavor was just a little too mild for me. Everything else in the sandwich is the same as the torpedo

I stumbled into this place and randomly had one of the most delicious sandwiches I’ve had in recent memory. It’s pretty reasonably priced considering all the ingredients taste very very fresh.

I walked into this establishment and two people were standing at the counter, a young blonde lady, and a short, bald man. I took about 3 minutes to look over their sandwich menu, at no point in time was I acknowledged. I went up to the counter where I stood for about a minute, again never being acknowledged. Not even a glance my way. It was clear to me the young woman is an employee as the man, who I assume is the owner, was telling her all the things he will not do for customer orders. Finally, I put my hands up and began to walk out, as I am on a lunch break. At this time the young lady called to me that she was sorry and she could help me. But the short, bald man (the owner I assume) called over her, “No. That’s fine, let her go.” And sarcastically called to me “Have a nice day.” What an incredibly rude owner who willfully dismissed a customer who was willing to pay $20 for a sandwich. There are plenty of fine places to eat on Second Street with exemplary customer service modeled to employees by kind, grateful owners. Do not support rude business owners.

This is such a great sandwich (Italian). I ate half before I could take a pic.
The staff is always super helpful and friendly. If you don’t feel like waiting, call ahead with your order. We also buy our olive oil there when we are in town. They have some beer on tap as well as bottled wine and prosecco. You can also grab some lemmoncello from the back. If you are in the mood for dessert get the fresh cannoli!

Our favorite spot.
All the ingredients are always so delicious and fresh. The sandwiches are sooo good but the best are the fresh meats and cheeses and stuffed peppers! If you’re anywhere near Long Beach swing by this spot and grab some groceries and something to eat. It’s my go-to for olive oil and prosciutto! Almost everything on that board in the photo came from angelos and it was SO good

This was by far the BEST prosciutto sandwich of my life. It was worth every penny. Everything about this sandwich was perfect. It was a little pricey, but for the size and the quality 100% worth it.
