This ramen spot in Bayside is actually pretty good. We’ve been here a few times already, and every time the food has been consistent. The portions are not bad at all and the flavors are solid. Nothing too fancy, but definitely satisfying when you’re craving ramen.

The place itself has a cozy, slightly old-school Japanese vibe. Overall it’s just one of those reliable neighborhood places you don’t mind coming back to again and again. We’ll definitely keep stopping by whenever we’re in the area.

Great place for ramen!
I came here with my husband and daughter because we were craving something warm and comforting. The restaurant is clean and cozy, and we felt welcomed as soon as we walked in.

We started with takoyaki and dumplings, which were delicious, and the ramen was amazing — the broth had such a deep, rich flavor. We each ordered a different type of noodle, and it was fun to try the variety. Everything tasted great.

We were all very satisfied and will definitely be coming back!

This is my go to place for sake for their great sake selection and yummy food. Today, took kids there for ramen. My son’s favorite was chashu ramen & agedashi tofu and I really like that this place has hiyashichuka, the cold ramen. Waitstaffs were very nice. definitely a plus.

We’ve eaten at Tamashi Gold in Bayside several times and always had a great experience — delicious ramen, friendly service, and a fun atmosphere. This time, we came as a group of four and were told we needed to wait until everyone arrived before being seated, which we understood.

A few minutes later, though, we noticed another group (party of three, with only two present) being seated right away. We’re a mixed couple, and while we’re not saying it was about race, it did feel off. More than anything, it just seemed like inconsistent policy and poor judgment.

We’ll still come back because the food here is excellent — especially the ramen — but we hope the staff applies their seating rules consistently to everyone in the future.

This was my first time dining here, and I loved it! I ordered the beef onigiri, okonomiyaki, and a kimchi+pork don and everything was delicious! The staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was great.

This is a ramen restaurant near my home. I often see it. I went there today. The environment is very Japanese, I like it very much But the food was average, the fried chicken had thick flour and tasted bad, the char siu in the ramen was too burnt and had a bitter taste. The 2 Korean waitresses are pretty and provide good service.

Typical ramen establishment. I ordered the spicy veggie ramen, a calpico drink with a side of white rice. The food was good along with the service. There was one problem: the place reeked of smoke. The building next door went up flames not too long ago. This place shouldn’t be opened with that stench.

The food is incredible. Great place if you’re looking for a cute segue to the Japanese culinary culture.
We tried most of the small plates. The nigiri was amazing and so was the takoyaki. We have yet to try the ramen but everything was absolutely delicious.

The staff is also very attentive and friendly. We had a great time. The mochi icecream on the house was a very lovely touch after a great experience. The decor is also very nicely done. Outstanding prices as well!

Upstairs is the izakaya and overall, great experience! Food was tasty and fresh, good selection of sake, and service was fantastic (our server was very attentive). Not a very big place, so not good for large groups but perfect for more intimate gatherings of 2-4 people.

I didn’t realize that there were two DIFFERENT restaurants in the same building. Their decor is also pretty similar with all the One Piece “WANTED” poster.. don’t be like me and if you’re meeting people for ramen IT’S ON THE GROUND FLOOR. Izakaya (I was sitting up there reading their menu for a bit lol) has yakitori and Japanese hot pot.

I came here with my fam and kiddo on a Friday night. We were able to get a table no problem and there were two different servers manning the restaurant. They were so friendly with our toddler, allowed us to walk around with her so she wouldn’t get fussy during our meal, and were just fantastic.

The ramen wasn’t the best I’ve ever had BUT for the price per bowl it’s definitely worth it. We also got a couple of apps which were delicious as well. The best one we ordered, hands down, had to be the agedashi tofu. Usually at other restaurants I’d get a couple small square blocks of fried tofu and some sauce. Here, you get a bunch of bonito flakes that added that extra umami flavor, scallions, and pickled radish. Delish!

We were surprised with mochi ice cream on the house at the end of the meal and if that wasn’t a sweet enough deal, if you pay with cash you have an 8% discount. It was definitely one of my family cheaper dinner nights out and we’ll be back again!
