Ricky Dz is a casual bar-style spot with solid comfort food and an impressive beer list. We went on a Saturday night and, due to a private party, were seated in a side room that was joyfully decorated for the holidays. Unfortunately, it was chilly enough that we had to move — and we weren’t the only ones. Granted it was a cold January night.

Service was excellent: our server was polite, accommodating, and quick to fix a billing error. Food came out hot, timely, and tasted great. The only downside was the noise level; being near a loud and very noisy group dampened the visit, though that’s more the nature of a bar than the staff’s fault.

**Bottom line: ** Good food, great service, and plenty of beer — just expect a sometimes-noisy atmosphere.

Food is fantastic. The chili Mac pizza is amazing. The staff is awesome, great atmosphere. It’s nice that there finally is a place in South Park that you can grab a bite to eat and have a drink or two with the family after a Friday night football game. Gil’s was nice but Ricky’s is top notch!!

New owners have done wonders with this place. The food has gotten better. They brighten it up a lot inside a lot of girls working. Tonight I got the steak which was cooked perfect.

It’s all about the service…Skylar was an absolute delight! Haven’t been here since the change & I’m glad we decided to stop! First off, loved the decor on the outdoor patio! Winter wonderland for sure! The food was excellent but far above that was the service….Skylar was funny, carefree, sweet & attentive. We had a great time & will definitely be back!

I had an excellent experience at Ricky Dz! The pizza was absolutely delicious—perfectly baked with a flavorful crust and fresh toppings. The quality really stood out, and you can tell they put care into every detail. I’ll definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great pizza and a friendly atmosphere.

It is clear this place is loved by their regulars. The service is prompt and friendly and the food comes out quickly. There is definitely an upbeat neighborly vibe. It is very loud in here. Very loud. All hard surfaces so the loudness just reverberates. If that’s not your thing, consider some noise cancelling ear wear. Seriously. I’m a pretty hardy soul but I couldn’t wait to escape the noise. It was like a Chuck E Cheese without the games
Unfortunately the food we had ranged from ok to weird to approaching terrible. The ok: a white pizza. The weird: clam chowder that both looked and tasted like chicken gravy crossed with corn chowder (with a couple clams tossed in for authenticity). I’ve never seen yellowish clam chowder before. The potato skins were not so much skins as an entire potato, quartered, pieces a couple inches thick. Not the crispy appetizer we were expecting. The terrible: the open face turkey sandwich which was just a few pieces of thin deli turkey slapped on heavily buttered thick bread, covered in gravy that looked oddly similar to the clam chowder.
Not our style, but it’s clear lots of people love the place. If the above is your vibe, you’ll be in good company. If not, there are lots of places nearby to get good bar food.

We had a large family gathering (19) on Saturday evening. A very busy night. Our waitress was outstanding. Super friendly and very attentive to all of us. Planned our next gathering there at the end of the month again.

Enjoyed a very good lunch today out on their refreshed up patio. Got the fried zucchini ribbons with tomato sauce & chicken wrap with a side spinach salad. Previously enjoyed the newer patio area for brunch. Service was awesome once again & love the new more variety options of beer! Will keep enjoying their outside patio while the weather is good.

Gil’s has always been a staple in the community for as long as I have been around. Ricky dz has upheld the same quality of food if not better. It has that local bar vibe without being “the local bar” The new decor and draft additions make it that much better. I would definitely recommend this place as a must try, it will end up being a favorite in your rotation!
