The place is super nice, and the food and coffee were really good. The only issue was the service. I was denied a plate for my pastry because the not-very-friendly lady at the counter said they were no longer doing dishes. This was at 4:05 pm, even though the place closes at 5 pm, and it was still full of people coming in and out.

The coffee was quite good, as was my cinnamon roll. Service was friendly and efficient, and there were several different options for seating – indoor and outdoor tables, a high-top overlooking the sidewalk, a couple of armchairs, or the sofa that I chose. The cafe also supports local charities, as pictured.

Common Good is the best thing to happen to Moody Street. From the staff, to the treats, bevys and music….they have figured it out. It’s a true coffee shop and love how much they are part of the community. If you haven’t tried their Matcha Latte with Almond Milk and Lavender….you are missing out:)

A great little spot for getting some work done! Fair amount of seating—bar seats for maybe 10 people, and then there were maybe seven 2-person tables, and a couch. I came in on an early Sunday morning and it started to pick up around 10:30. It was definitely a little fuller when I left at 12, but there were still one or two seats. There are a fair amount of outlets for laptops and charging.
Vanilla Latte was excellent and the plain croissant I had was good (also pretty large!). It was about $8.50 for both items, which I feel is pretty good and on par with other similar coffee shops.
The staff were also incredibly nice and helpful. Shop does have a single restroom in the back as well.
I don’t have a membership so I can’t speak to the working space in the back section. But the regular coffee shop portion was great.

Visiting from out of town and the cold brew was excellent. Some cafe’s have really strong cold brews, but their version is perfect. My wife got an iced latte and she loved hers as well. Super nice people, great atmosphere.

My favorite coffee shop in area. The staff are friendly and funny, there are always delicious/interesting seasonal specials, and the pastry and toast options are all fantastic. Highly recommend the Marshmallow Matcha this fall!

Latte was excellent! Best cup of coffee I’ve had in Waltham. The atmosphere is welcoming and looks like a nice place to get some work done or just meet new friends. I’ll be back.
