This is in my top 3 favorite places to eat at Kern’s! The meat for the day always tastes great and I love the Dill Hummus! The people that work here are always outgoing and friendly! They have good vegetarian options for my wife to including gluten free falafel balls!

This place is a true hidden gem! I have walked past this little nook countless times until one day I decided to try the hummus. The person working the register was very welcoming and showed me around. To my surprise, they have a fantastic hot bar where you build your own bowl. They offer a great selection of proteins: chicken, meatballs, beef and potatoes, lamb kabobs, and shawarma. The beef, chicken, and meatballs are served with a delicious, flavorful sauce that pairs perfectly with the seasoned rice. The bowls come in two sizes and are generously sized, allowing you to sample different meats on your rice. The dill hummus is the star of the show! It’s the lightest, airiest hummus I’ve ever had, and I happily drive ten miles just to get some! The briny olive tapenade complements the dish beautifully, too. Complimentary lentil soup accompanies certain menu items. You really can’t go wrong here since it’s pay-by-weight. Whether you have the appetite of a Titan or a toddler, you can enjoy a delicious, home-cooked meal. You absolutely have to give this place a try!

Delicious variety of hummus, falafel, pickles, olives, sauces, etc. and they added a hot bar with several options. I was even given a few samples of extra things for no charge after weighing and paying! Very friendly with great customer service. Will definitely go again!

Make sure you double check prices once you get to the register, got a slice of cake that had a very plain and obvious sign that said $7.99 when I got to the register and paid. It ended up being over $15 and didn’t realize it until after I paid. When we asked the worker about it he said it was because it was strawberry not chocolate. The sign clearly said strawberry cake and then he said ohh prices must’ve changed. Not sure if it was actually a mix up but seemed like this was something they did on purpose. Cake was good but definitely not worth that price.

Really unique and delicious place inside kerns food hall. It’s in one of the smaller food spots. They are similar to yassins/cava in knoxville, so if you liked them or crave that type of food and you defiently should come here. They have a variety of food options at their hot/cold bar with specials of the day. I had the spanikopita, and it was so flavorful and fluffy. The hummus is also soooo smooth and far superior to any grocery store. I went around 6:30 pm. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Please give them a shot, it’s pay by the pound so take as much or as little as you’d like 🙂
