Overall good Mexican restaurant. I got the fajitas without beans because I unfortunately don’t like beans. The rice was a bit bland, but the fajita itself was very good. The interior looks like a classic Mexican restraint, and the servers were very friendly.

As much as I wanted to like this place, my chimichanga was very dry and hard to chew I couldn’t finish it. I ordered takeout so maybe that played a part in why my order wasn’t the best quality. I’m used to having a lot of queso on top, with lettuce, tomato and guacamole. But the shredded chicken chimichanga I got hardly has queso and was dry as a desert. I like a cheesy juicy chimichanga. The beans and rice were flavorful. I may try a redo dining in because I’ve actually heard great reviews about El Gringo.

My husband and I ate here for the first time and it was worth every penny we spent. Service was great! Food was made quick for it to be a Friday night. Definitely would recommend coming here! You won’t be disappointed..

The food here is amazing! After being in California for 4 years, this is the only place that has dishes better than San Diego. The menu is classic, so if you’re looking for a great place to have it all, food, service, music and atmosphere, go to El Gringo Mexican Grill. Special shout out to the Carnitas Street Tacos.

We have to drive to Grovetown every so often so we are always looking for good restaurants. The food here is absolutely delicious! My husband the gringo approved 110%! So good! Food is plenty, well seasoned, savory and the price is excellent.

So fresh, delicious, juicy, flavorful and amazing!!! Atmosphere is so calm yet so lively at the same time! Staff is the absolute SWEETEST and kind I ever met and I love how they treat you with the utmost respect. You constantly see them cleaning the restaurant even when it’s busy. If your mouth didn’t water for the food I posted I don’t know what will! Been here several times and I have yet to have 1 bad experience! Everything is absolutely amazing! If you want good authentic Mexican food look no further

Great food, great prices, and wonderful friendly service! My wife & I really enjoyed our visit. Parking was easy and there were plenty of open seating. The atmosphere is cosey and casual, and unlike some places, the music was not so loud as to impede conversation. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you have a taste for some decent area Mexican. The dish I had (street tacos) was generous, well prepared and well plated. Unlike some of the other local places it was not so heavily seasoned that you could not taste the lighter flavors of the various ingredients, such as beef, pork, and carnitas. The hot sauce can get hot and the picantecdip for the chips was light and fresh. We really enjoyed our meals and talking to our servers who were friendly, open, and just the right amount of attentive – not hovering over you but there right before we needed something. A well done job by all.

Came in yesterday, April 9th. It was empty. The place was very clean. We were greeted as we walked in by the waitress. I didn’t catch her name but she was very friendly.
We ordered shrimp fajitas, parilla Los gringos, flautas de pollo, horchata, nachos grande, one tamale, and the Tres leches cake.
* Horchata was on point. It was soooo good! I definitely recommend ordering some when you go!
* flautas de Pollo were good. Definitely need some type of sauce or salsa to dip.
* Shrimp fajitas. Shrimp were over cooked (dry inside), and there weren’t many shrimp. My rice was undercooked. The rice grains were hard. And the food was bland. The whole thing was bland. Shrimp, veggies, rice, all bland. No seasoning, no flavor.
* Nachos grande were good. And a big portion. We had steak on ours. Definitely recommend.
* Parilla Los gringos. Overpriced for the amount of food. Small amount of shrimp (4) steak was over cooked and crunchy.
* Tamale. Incredibly bland. No flavor at all. Wouldn’t recommend. Only a tiny bit of meat inside. Very shocked about the tamale. As these are our favorites.
*Tres leches cake was DRY. I’ve never had a dry tres leches cake. No wetness at all. I was very shocked at this. The cake itself didn’t seem fresh either.
Green and red sauce and Salsa were good.
Took 3 stars off for the food. I know it’s a new restaurant but we paid good money for a bunch of bland food, and dry tres leches.
But the service was excellent, great atmosphere. Clean environment.

This is my new go-to for Mexican food. They just opened up. The food is fantastic. I absolutely love their fried fish, the street taco’s, their pizza, the shrimp cocktail is untouchable, I’ve never seen anything like it. It’s not my thing but my GF loves it! whatever, I haven’t had a boring dish yet.
