Yum!! The sushi closest to the camera was the Southie , the back one is the coco salmon. Both delish but I think the Southie was the winner for me-

We also got the bim bam bop. It was so good I forgot to take a photo!

10/10

Excellent Japanese restaurant in the Seaport area.

Foods were served quickly.
Fishes were fresh and had a variety of selections.

The sashimi&sushi combo not only taste good but looks amazing!

Great service, and the atmosphere was super friendly.

Medium price.

Moko is my go-to sushi spot in Boston. The staff are absolutely incredible, Mai and Lucky are the absolute best, so welcoming and are so fun to chat with. The sushi is always so fresh, and they have some really creative rolls – the Southie roll and Wild Fire roll are my favorites! This is honestly one of my favorite places to go for dinner, 10/10 recommend!

Menu has a large assortment of rolls with a lot going on. Price was on the higher side, but that is to be expected. Weekday no wait at all.

Sleeper gem!! I had the sushi deluxe and my friend had the crispy salmon and toro truffle roll. Rare to find a good deal, fresh fish, attentive service and sushi rice done right in Boston 🙂

Also a cozy atmosphere inside, for a relaxing meal in comfortable surroundings. They have gluten free soy sauce and can note an allergy when preparing your meal.

Moko is my safe space for sushi. Casual and homey and delicious. Owners are sooo friendly, sushi is good quality and great value, restaurant itself is so cozy for eating in, take out is always super reliable! My favorites are the sushi regular combo or deluxe, southie roll, hamachi maki, and ikura sushi.

This neighborhood spot is worth a visit. The portions are generous, the pricing is reasonable and the service is attentive. It’s a small restaurant that seems to do a brisk takeout business. We were seated right away and ordered edamame, gyoza fried, sushi sashimi combo, beef chapchae, Dol Sot BiBimBap Beef and bulgoki. The sushi sashimi and beef dishes are good – I would not rate it in the same level as Japan or Koreatown food. For us, it’s a 3.5 stars but giving it 4 stars as I think it’s a standout in the neighborhood.

It was late, just arrived after a long drive to Boston with my daughter and both of us wanted something healthy to eat before bed.

We arrived an hour before close. Service was attentive and caring. Despite the late hour a few other patrons were enjoying the food and atmosphere as well.

Moko is easy to find as it is right on the corner.

The place is smallish (intimate some would say). It is appropriately furnished and does not feel cramped. There are two small bars, one for sushi, the other for cocktails. If you are into sports, there are 2 large televisions to catch your eye.

But the real draw is the food. I did not have high expectations and was happily surprised how good the food was!

I had the sashimi regular while my daughter had the udon. The sashimi was preceded by miso soup and that was when I knew we were in for a treat. It was so yummy! Really, if all I wanted was that, I would go to Moko to get it. And the sashimi was fantastic as was its presentation. The only thing missing were the leaves, but they are probably hard to get here.

My daughter had the udon, which took a minute to arrive. But when we saw the bowl we understood why. It was larger than expected, artistically prepared, and smelled fantastic. Although she was unable to consume it all, she reported that it was ‘tasty! ‘ I did have a sip at the end of the meal and can say the broth was on par with the miso soup. Yummy!

So would I recommend this place to a hungry, tired traveler? A resounding Yes!

I literally think this is the best sushi in Boston. Better than all the top fancy places. Take out is great but sitting there is always so pleasant as well, great service and they always get you in even when they are busy. The sushi is top notch quality!
