Bruno DiCarlo has infused his love of culture and food from around the world into his very own restaurant. Growing up Brazilian and Italian, and having a father as a chef has had a strong influence on his taste buds for the finer cuisines of the world. Bruno lived in Brazil for some of his schooling, and also traveled throughout Europe, settling for a time in Italy Bruno’s journey into the restaurant business began as he started waiting tables and excelled when his dedication was recognized and he was promoted to a management position. He has brought extraordinary service to each establishment he has worked at. His knowledge of the menu and hospitable approach with customers, has people always coming back for more.

After hearing all the details from my new fiancé of how everything was planned and coordinated and how the owner and the staff went above and beyond to make my magical moment to perfection! I have eaten here many times and always enjoyed the food. The staff is attentive.
We decided to utilize the back room to hold a large party for 22 people from our firehouse.
Bruno and the staff took care of everything. There was plenty of food and everything was delicious. Everyone left their full and happy with the choice. I am looking forward to returning.

I had an amazing experience with Salute in Plainview! I called to place an order for a Thanksgiving luncheon with my coworkers, and Bruno could not have been more helpful. He was so friendly and patient on the phone, making the whole process incredibly easy. The food was absolutely delicious — the salad was fresh and flavorful, and the paninis were a huge hit. Great prices, great service, and overall a fantastic experience. Highly recommend.

I have come here for about two years, always to get my favorite Parma salad for take out. But since they opened the new nice set up next door I was curious about it, so I decide to go dine in instead of doing my usual take out, and I loved it ever since, the fried zucchini is my new favorite, the French Martini is on point, I go almost every week, very friendly staff and always attentive…. this is a very nice spot, congrats and please keep it up

We got a warm welcome and seated right away. This place used to be La Bottega. In for quick lunch. And we ordered Chicken Nuzzi panini, Steak panini with mushroom and Broccoli Rabe. Everything came out fresh and hot. Potion is good. My steak was tender but not as flavorful but the cheese and mushroom made up for it. The broccoli Rabe was great compliment to our paninis.

I called in an order tonight and was very disappointed with the service and quality of food. My order was taken by someone very unsure of their own menu. I ordered an eggplant vodka panini and a large order of fries. I also ordered a chicken panini and made it very clear that this was for someone with a severe dairy allergy. We were told that it would be ready in 20 min, but it wasn’t ready when we arrived 30 min after calling. We waited 20 more minutes for them to make two small servings of soggy fries. The pricing also did not reflect the prices listed online and was more expensive than expected. When we arrived home to eat, our eggplant vodka panini was dry and the chicken panini had melted mozzerella all over it. Thankful for the manager who offered us solutions when we called about the cheese though.

We tried Lamb chops (medium)- 4/5 which was great in portion, nicely served with vegggies and the sauce was tasty. However, 1/2 chops were medium rare which needed a bit more doneness according to our preference. (32$).
We also tried a special appetizer dish for two which took 20$ containing 3 different appetizers( baked clams/stuffed mushroom/cucumber cheese wrap) not good portion for price- 3/5.
