I never thought I would finally find a fish fry place that’s so good, fresh, quality food, with ‘clean fry oil’! I had the Alaskan Wild Caught Cod and it was beyond my expectations, not surprised when they’re right off Salmon Bay. Staff is friendly and professional. Love the area too.

The restaurant is a cozy spot in the middle of Fisherman’s Terminal. I ordered the True Cod Fish and Chips and a cup of clam chowder. The fish was ok, though it was a little over cooked and without flavor except the panko breading. The fries were crispy and well salted. The dish came with poppy seed coleslaw, which was different but good. The chowder was excellent! If I wasn’t walking, I would have ordered some to take home. The service was great!

Crispy outside, just right moisture inside! Fish is so fresh, all I could taste was the good fish flavor! The smell of the fish and chips even lure my surroundings I am so glad I didn’t cheap out to pick fish tacos!

The food here is absolutely incredible! We got the New Jersey clam chowder, fish & chips, and fries. The clam chowder is a huge portion for only $11, I was able to save some for later. The fries are AMAZING! Perfectly crispy and super delicious paired with their phenomenal tartar sauce. The service was also great, and I can’t wait to come back. Definitely my favorite clam chowder + fries in Seattle.

Growing up in North Seattle this was a great place to grab lunch and now decades later and having moved away this is always a stop on my visits- great chowder, solid fish especially the salmon and what flies under the radar is the coleslaw which is oil based and not gross mayo based. Great views from outside on a nice day

I had a great experience at this place! The fish and chips were absolutely delicious — perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The tacos were amazing too, fresh and tasty. Everything felt worth the money and very pocket-friendly, which is always a plus.
If you’re looking for good food at a reasonable price, I’d definitely recommend this spot. Great taste and great value!

Seattle has the best fish n chips in the country IMO, and breezy Little Chinook’s is among the tops in the city. Can’t go wrong with the true cod and the halibut, but my differentiated favorites are the fried clams (tender and crisp, not chewy) and the salmon taco (lightly blackened with salsa and a creamy slaw). Note that they finish the clams with a sprinkle of salt, so you may want them to hold that depending on your salt preference. They have limited afternoon-only hours; and if they’re closed, big brother Chinook’s next door has you covered, albeit at a higher price point.

This is the small informal fish and chips sit-down restaurant next to Chinook’s. It offers covered outdoor or indoor seating. Easy going menu with enough options to make everyone happy. I ordered the lingcod with an extra piece of hibut for 9 bucks. The pieces are small but crispy. The lingcod was delicate, fresh and a delight in texture. Just the right amount of seasoning and fried to the perfect crispiness. It didn’t feel oily or frozen. The halibut was denser and more flavorful. I was a different experience but looked exactly the same. I’m glad I tried both.
The clam chowder was also very good being thick but not chalky. The flavors were well developed.
The condiments were well stocked so you can eat the fish the way you want to.
The seasoned fries were good but not addictive. I was thankful for that.
After the meal, a walk along the publicly accessible pier and a visit to the fisherman’s memorial completed the experience.

The fish and chips is fab, fab, fab!! We normally eat small portions but the fish and chips were so good (hot and crisp) we ordered two. Counter service, plenty of tables and chairs for dining al fresco (if you feel unsafe eating inside its more formal Chinook sister restaurant). Look forward to coming back!
