Best biscuits and gravy I’ve ever had — don’t tell my mom! (Hers are right up there, but Scrambled might just have them beat. Mom, I said might.) The biscuits were soft and buttery, and the gravy was creamy, well-seasoned, and perfectly comforting.
My husband ordered the steak and eggs and was beyond impressed. The steak was beautifully blackened, cooked perfectly, and incredibly tender — every bite was full of flavor and done just right.
Service was attentive and friendly, adding to the relaxed, welcoming vibe.
A warm, casual spot that knows how to do breakfast right — we left full, happy, and already planning to come back, if ever back in Roanoke.

The food was just as impressive – fresh ingredients, great flavors, and everything came out hot and cooked perfectly. Some of the best food I’ve had since being here. There is a husband and wife (one is a server and the other the cook) and they make this place worth every penny I spend here. The service is great, the bloody Mary excellent and OMGOSH the food…. So yummy.

Have been here a couple times (last time being mid-November) and this place never disappoints! The menu is a little confusing but the staff is incredibly helpful for any questions you may have and they definitely go the extra mile to ensure their customers are happy.
The food was incredible- pancakes are the size of dinner plates- you really only need to eat 1. My family and I had orderes pumpkin pancakes and you could tell that there was fresh pumpkin in those pancakes–heavenly! Prices are also very reasonable for what you get- there were 6 of us and the total bill was under $100.
If you go early in the day, it is much more peaceful, but usually by like 10-11 am on weekends they get packed (as they should be!) so plan accordingly. There also isn’t a ton of seating, especially if you have a large party.
There isn’t a parking lot, but if you go early sometimes you can get street parking. The closest parking lot is about half a block away and is a paid private lot.

A perfect spot for breakfast. The staff could not have been friendlier! Fresh coffee appeared constantly and the management was more than helpful when we realized that we had left our credit card there..

Service and speed were fantastic. The food was on par with a Denny’s though. Grits and omelet were mediocre. The only stand out was the apple cider bacon. The best thing about this restaurant is they truly are dog friendly and went out of their ways to greet my dog and make sure he had a water bowl.
