This place used to be good. Unfortunately, time passes & so does motivation for business. Ordered general chicken w/ pork fried rice, (chicken was extra dry & crunchy) no taste on the sauce that’s over it. Asked for boneless spare ribs to be cooked extra tender & the lady said they don’t do that, it comes how THEY make it. I was In disbelief because everywhere I go, I’ve never had that issue. Definitely not going back. If you want good Chinese food & up for a drive, go to Jin Jin in Enterprise!

This place has really fallen off when it comes to the quality of the food. It’s hard to find good Chinese food in general but Panda doesn’t even make the effort anymore. Ordered the fried wings tonight bc I figured that couldn’t possibly be messed up. I stand corrected. Of 4 pieces of chicken, only one is actually a “wing”.. can’t even make out what some pieces are bc they are so heavily breaded.. unlike traditional Chinese wings. Overall disappointed and feel like I wasted $15.

I will be contacting the manager as soon as they open because I am 37 weeks pregnant and was served/sold spoiled teriyaki chicken on steamed white rice which is also contaminated and smells spoiled like the chicken. My 2 year old is being monitored as well for potential food poisoning because we both ate enough spoiled chicken to make us both sick.

The first question I asked when I loved to Dothan was where is the best Chinese? I got a lot of recommendations and this ain’t to say that others that I’ve tried are bad, but there are two things I judge on. Dumplings and Mei Fun. Hands down the best I’ve had after trying several Chinese eateries here. Small I decorated dining area that also sells from boxes like any dry market in Shanghai. The lady at the counter was pleasant and answered my questions, and the food took about 10 minutes, and was amazing. Smokiness from the char of a wok on the dumpling, tender and full of filling. The Mei Fun wasn’t greasy and super fresh. I’ve found my place for Chinese in Dothan.

Lady at window was extremely rude and got loud with me. My card was locked so transaction was declined. Unlocked my card and asked her to run it sgsin she raised her voice and slammed window shut. Will never go back again!

I love the franchise. The team at this place could work better together for the sake of customers. The girl taking a drive thru order saw they were out of that item and asked someone to make it. He yelled back “Make it yourself.” She didn’t know how and when he didn’t help she gathered the SCRAPS put it on a plate and sent it out through the drive thru! I ordered my takeout inside so my food was OK but I felt for the person who went through the drive thru who’ll be very disappointed.

After seeing all the recent negative reviews of this restaurant, I wanted to give my own review as someone who’s been coming here for years.
Panda is one of the better Chinese restaurants that I’ve been to, and my favorite one in Dothan. The food’s typically always good, and I’ve never gotten sick from any of it. There are occasions where the egg rolls will be a little too greasy for my taste, hence the four stars, but apart from that it’s usually really good. I particularly like the panda combo, with the pepper steak and chicken with broccoli. And when the egg rolls are not greasy, they’re probably the best I’ve had from a Chinese takeout place. Both the fried and steamed dumplings are just doughy enough to not be too much, but still substantial and tasty at the same time.
As for the staff–which seems to be one of the biggest grievances people have–the woman who works the register has always been nice to me. Sure, she’s not the friendliest person I’ve ever met, but then I’m not there on a social call. She’s polite enough and always asks if I need sauce or anything else with my order.
As for the atmosphere of the place, I guess that would probably be its weakest point, but I view it as particularly a takeout restaurant anyway so it doesn’t bother me. Admittedly, it’s strange how they still follow the covid protocols for safety, years after the pandemic, but again, it’s not really a big deal and obviously doesn’t hurt the food.
So, in short, I find panda to be an above-average takeout Chinese restaurant, and I wish we had a place like that in Tuscaloosa, to be honest. I miss this place when I’m up there. I put it right there with Jin Jin and Dragon Garden in Enterprise (two other great takeout places, especially Jin Jin).

If I had the choice I would have rated this meal with no stars but in order to make a comment I have to give one star let’s just start by saying customer service was horrible food is terrible and it has a old taste to it I tried calling Panda to let them know about my food but I got nowhere therefore I had to come here to leave a bad comment which I didn’t want to do that I ordered General Tso’s chicken but chicken itself taste like it was cooked a couple days ago it’s like rubber who wants to eat that let alone the rice has a foul smell I never had Chinese food that had a taste as bad as this taste I’ve eaten here before so I know that this isn’t how they cook their food something isn’t right about the food that I ordered but I got nowhere what you’re looking at is general tso’s chicken with fried rice in the corner you can see where I spit the chicken out it’s a shame I spent 30 something dollars for my food and I couldn’t explain myself nor the food to the Cook about what it taste like she never offered anything else only thing she told me was she couldn’t help me she tried to say that I don’t like it but this is my favorite meal to eat. the egg roll taste like it was refried as well something is wrong with this meal and I’m not happy so I came here to let everyone else know what I felt about it and for you to be aware of poor customer service and bad food at Panda if you had good service and good food then good for you but today it was horrible you might be wondering why I spent thirty something on my food that’s because I ordered other food. I asked for a few extra sauce packs and I was charged for more duck sauce. I have 2 meals chicken egg rolls scallops fried chicken and only 6 sauces. I was never charged for extra but today I had to pay. I was mistreated and taken advantage of. All I wanted was a fresh meal and I couldn’t get that. I wish I could have went by this another way but they left me no other option be aware of panda! Dont let the picture fool you
