We ordered pimento cheese beignet, Cesar salad, salmon, and beef short rib pasta. Everything was really good. Beignet, salmon, and pasta were our favorite. Prompt and helpful service. Environment was relaxing and easy going. Great dining experience

I got to dine here twice in 24 hours as this restaurant has dinner and breakfast. We went to the resort for a friend’s birthday and enjoyed the service provided to us. The waitresses in the evening and morning times were very friendly and accommodating. The food wasn’t as flavorful as I hoped but we were happy with most of the dishes. They even took back the pasta dish and remade it with alfredo sauce for one of my friends. The oysters were probably my favorite dish for the evening. They tasted so fresh.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Woodlands Grill at Barnsley Resort and it was truly an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was struck by the warm and inviting atmosphere, which perfectly complemented the delicious food and exceptional service.

The menu offered a wide range of options, from classic Southern favorites to more contemporary dishes, all made with the freshest and highest-quality ingredients. I especially enjoyed the wood-fired pizzas, which were absolutely delicious, and the grilled shrimp and grits, which were bursting with flavor.

But what really stood out to me was the level of service. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, professional, and eager to ensure that my dining experience was perfect. From recommendations on wine pairings to ensuring that my food was prepared to my liking, they went above and beyond to make sure I had an unforgettable meal.

The ambiance of the restaurant is also worth mentioning. The rustic decor and cozy fireplace created a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, which was perfect for a romantic dinner or a night out with friends.

Overall, I would highly recommend the Woodlands Grill at Barnsley Resort to anyone looking for exceptional food, outstanding service, and a memorable dining experience. Thank you to the entire staff for a truly wonderful evening

We love it here the food was amazing, the service was decent and the experience great. We ate like royalty. I enjoyed everything we had here. Everything was well-plated and of quality. The chef apparently likes arugula, good thing we do too. I think every meal we ate has at least some in it. The wait staff were friendly and helpful. Would love to eat here again someday.

Had a lovely dining experience for our anniversary. We celebrated at the resort and reserved a table to enjoy dinner at the Woodlands. We had fantastic service from Reeves who was very thorough and friendly. He did very well walking us through the menu and making us feel special on our night.
Steak cooked to perfection and the alfredo sauce was exemplary. Large portions and since I wasn’t able to finished the pasta so I had lunch for the next day!

Had such a nice time may be making another trip to celebrate next year again.

We had dinner here for our anniversary and were delighted to be seated by the windows, which lent gorgeous views of the golf course greens. For our appetizer, we ordered the spinach artichoke dip, which had a crumb crust that gave way to the most bewitching layer of bubbly layer underneath. It arrived piping hot with a generous plate of crostini, and by the time we were done, we barely had enough stomach space for the entrees to come.

My husband enjoyed his burger well enough, though the accompanying fries were unfortunately cold. I cobbled my entree together by combining a Caesar salad and an appetizer – the burrata caprese and fried green tomatoes. Both were perfectly executed, and the mound of fresh burrata cheese was extraordinarily fresh (perhaps made in-house?).

Even though we were here on a quiet weekday night, it seems that reservations are mandatory for all visitors. For larger parties celebrating a special get-together, there is a beautiful screened in porch that seems like it would seat 8-10.

Great atmosphere. Friendly staff. Very clean and organized. Loved the waitress Amber. Food was pretty good. Arugula salad, scallop Alfredo, and deconstructed red velvet cake for dessert for my birthday.

Met some family here for lunch over labor day weekend.

We didn’t want to sit in the main dining room since it kinda looks like the dining hall of a conference center or retirement community, and chose to sit in the lounge instead. We should have sat outside which I didn’t realize was an option at the time.

The table we sat at was dirty and had to ask for it to be cleaned, which the bar tender got around to after our app was served. Service was generally good beside that. The food however was not, especially considering the prices, on top of the already high daily resort fee.

Pimento cheese beignets (5 small bites) were gummy in the middle, not light and fluffy like a beignet should be.

The smash burger was smaller than the bun by like 20%. No idea on flavor, my nephew ate half of it and left the rest behind.

The grown up grilled cheese was pretty good, but didn’t have basil on it like in the description and wasn’t served with any smoked tomato dip either. Keep in mind here almost everything is at least $20 a place, even the grilled cheese.

Fish tacos were really small and dry. They badly needed some sauce.

My mom said the chicken salad croissant “wasn’t the best she’s ever had”. She was being nice.

Fries we really good though! All in all we spent about $40 a person for a terribly un-tasty lunch.

Food was wonderful and so was the service. We had dinner Saturday evening, the filet and red snapper, with the garden salad….it was delicious. And finished with the Creme Brule . Lunch Sunday was the burger with side salad…..so good. We loved it and plan to return soon.

My wife and I really enjoyed our dinner with another couple. After our meal we walked out to the ruins and walked the boxwood maze. The Christmas lights made for us a magical evening.
