Great THANKSGIVING meal!! We discovered this place today because of a facebook post, and oh!!! It hit the spot!!! The staff was nice, the atmosphere is. CLEAN… ( LIKE THE OSMONDS WOULD YOU HERE) we have two kids and the staff was very helpful to accommodate them, the patrons were all nice… mostly people a bit older…. but we love this so much.We will certainly come back. And the PRICE was more than reasonable compared to everything else around here. We will certainly come back!!

Not a bad seat in the place, and the furniture is comfortable and allows you to stay and enjoy more food!
Absolutely start off with the Shrimp & Crab Dip. There are locals who literally come here regularly just for this, and now we know why. The Naan dippers are great even by themselves. We will be back over the next two weeks to try out their Shrimp Scampi and Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. Kudos to the chef!

We went here with friends for my birthday. We had J.D. as a waiter and he went above and beyond the entire time we were there! We had brought a cake to have after lunch and he brought us extra plates and silverware. He kept our drinks refilled and managed to get all of our orders perfectly served! The food was excellent. I had the lasagna which was so good (and plenty to take home). Some of us had the shrimp (grilled and fried) and it also was good. The prices for lunch were very reasonable. We sat outside, looking at the marina, and it was perfect. We will definitely go back and we will ask for J.D. as our waiter.

We had a great time at Barometer last night. We sat on the second floor over looking the docks and the view was beautiful. Our server was very attentive and made several suggestions for our meal. The appetizer was the shrimp and crab dip which was tasty. Our mains were good but honestly nothing special. All in all it was a great night with good food and great service.

Edited: since my post I have been in contact with management. They apologized for the service and lack of eggs. They have also offered to make it up to us at another time. I appreciate management making the time to make it right.
Original: We made a reservation for brunch. A well advertised and recommended brunch. When we arrived we were given upstairs or downstairs seating. We chose upstairs to enjoy the view and music. Live saxophone music and a beautiful view was the perfect ending to a holiday weekend. We were not greeted upstairs and quickly realized they were understaffed. A gentleman bussed the table for us and was obviously aggravated. The table next to it even commented on the aggression of the table cleaning. He threw plates, silverware, and glasses into the tub. Several items fell to the floor. Syrup was slung across the table and an attempt to clean it was made. We had to do this again before we could sit. It was on the side of the table and the wall. We were soon met with a waiter that explained the short staffing and no eggs. Yes, that is no eggs left, ran out of eggs. So our brunch was changed to an early lunch. We still enjoyed the music, scenery, and mimosas. The food we ate was good, it was not brunch and not what we went for. I am not sure if we recommended this place to our friends, but definitely not for brunch.

Service was great and good was really good! We have the shrimp crab dip for appetizer and we had the cheese curds as well. They were really good!
My wife had the pork tenderloin, which was large enough to share. I had the ribeye, our daughters had the grilled chicken sandwich and the grouper. Everyone seemed to really enjoy their meal. We were able to make a reservation ahead of time there was no wait when we got to the restaurant we received our food very quickly and as a party of four we’re in and out with appetizers and under 35 minutes, very impressed with that for being at the beach.

Came here as had reservations available on a Friday night. That should have been first clue. Waitress started friendly with advice on sitting fish and shrimp with my son. Downhill from there as she rarely stopped at table again but heard talking to another table of her age guests. Food was slow to come out and salads came with meal vs before. Wife’s grits were cold and the steak fries with my order more like chips they were so thin. Waitress never checked so could complain, so just accepted. But then an unknown 3.5% service charge added to bill. Just paid as very ready to go by then. Would not return.

The bartender needs to learn how to make a proper cosmopolitan, but at least the waiter took them off our tab. The grouper was cooked perfectly although the grits were barely warm. We were hungry for an order of hush puppies and those came to the table too quick to be fresh and were barely warm. The Cajun pasta was simply outstanding. Highly recommend it. The service was also highly on point.

DJ was our waiter for brunch yesterday. Fantastic service, even better than the food which was also great. Get a Bloody Mary, you won’t forget it. He went out of his way, sat us where we wanted to be even though it meant more work for him. Good as they come!!

Been coming to Orange Beach for years. Barometer opened in March 2025…so glad we came. The grouper over Gouda grits was awesome. If your looking for a higher end of the strip experience, give Barometer a try. And Terry provided great service.
