Worst food ever eaten. They served us bad food. Me and my friends visited Oakland for the first time and they gave us bland food, there was an insect found in the Alfredo pasta and the pasta was not fully cooked. The tiramisu had fungus on top and they still served us rotten food. I WANT MY MONEY BACK OR I WILL SUE THIS PLACE !!!!!

I always enjoy dining at Tomanetti’s. A small family owned restaurant. I love the quiet, cozy dining area and I really love the outdoor dining in the summer.

Words of advice – Make sure you request the fresh dough pizza crust if you order pizza !!!I! WOW! What a treat!!! The food was delicious. We ordered a 20 inch cheese pizza (because we love leftover pizza) and the Greek Chicken Pasta. The pasta dish was enormous!!! Enough to serve several people. The flavor was simple but yummy. The pizza was amazingly delicious too. It scored a perfect 3 out of 3 – with a nice doughy crust (fresh dough), a sweet tasty red sauce (which was definitely homemade) with small chunks of tomato, and a thick flavorful high quality cheese on top. We will definitely be going back to Tomanetti’s next time we are in Oakland (but with more folks). Treat yourself to Tomanetti’s when in the area. You will not be disappointed nor will you leave there hungry.

We had the worst experience here. Showed up to pick up an order and was overcharged $20. When I asked to see a menu and mentioned I was overcharged the women got mad and pulled $10 out of the drawer and said “here, come see me next time”. She was slurring her words and starting to make a scene. I took the $10 and left. The pizza sucked as bad as the service.

It’s an okay place! It has a good vibe to it, and the staff knew my grandparents by name, and they were very friendly. I just got a small pizza, and honestly it was just okay a decent pizza, i am a ranch lover at heart so of course I had a side of ranch with my pizza, sadly it was not the best, it was liquidy and clearly meant for salads. I also was sad to see how flat the crust was but it’s a personal preference. Grandparents shared a salad and wings and they liked it. But overall I think this is a nice decent Italian spot.

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Ordered food for takeout, never been here before. We ended up getting stuck in a road closure for hours, I called to let them know we may not make pickup before closing. The woman I spoke to was SO kind and friendly, and she let us come 20 mins after close to pick up our take out order!!! Incredibly kind service! It meant the world to me and my family. This is our go to place from now on. Oh and the food is delicious!
