One of my favorite places. They have delicious food, servers that aim to please. Terrific owners that always want to make sure you’re comfortable and well taken care of.
You can sit at a table or the bar. They always have music, bands, DJ, or radio. Paint n sips and other activities. Very family and friends oriented, which is important to me.
In the warmer weather they offer by the water seating. You should make reservations because 9 times out of 10 you will be waiting if you don’t, but that’s how you know it’s the place to be. Definitely try it, you won’t be disappointed.

Nice ambiance, especially if you get a seat outside.
Decent food – we liked Philly cheesteak, burger and quesadilla. Salmon BLT was overdone though, the fish was really dry.
I liked spicy paloma cocktail, very well balanced
It was the very first shift for our waitress, but she took a good care of us, and the rest of the staff seemed to be friendly and efficient.

Absolutely loved our experience at Friends Waterfront Bar & Grill. From the moment we arrived, the team was friendly, welcoming, and attentive. The food was exceptional, clearly prepared with care and expertise. The experience was seamless and so enjoyable for all. The pepperoni pizza stole the show—crispy edges, gooey cheese, and just the right amount of kick from the pepperoni. The cheeseburger was decent, though not the star of the meal. Honestly, I’d come back just for the pizza, a cold beer, and that peaceful view of the lake. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to linger a little longer.

The food is beyond fantastic. I ate everything before i could take and post pictures. The calamari was to die for and the Sunday meatballs….OMG….delish !!! And to top it off…
The owner, Frank introduced himself to us which was pretty cool. Highly, highly recommend this place. You wont be disappointed!!!! Oh and the prices are sooo reasonable, the atmosphere …excellent and the music….even better !!! Thanks so much for such a great NYE dinner.

I am new to the area was recommended friends by the owner of house we purchased and me and my son went for lunch everyone was very friendly super nice food good only issue is to many bees they was chasing us yellow jackets and wasps we went inside but they still got in not as many and we did stay but they need to do something about that especially when you want to dine by the water

Went to friends, waterfront, bar, and Grill in Mahopac the food was excellent. We ordered Fried calamari penne alla vodka also had a burger which was excellent and also my wife had the quesadillas. The drinks were nice and cold. Waitresses were happy and also very nice. definitely heading there again And the atmosphere is to die for beautiful view a great crowd Frank did a great job.

Amazing service! Everyone is so kind and respectful. Service is top tier, and all the servers and managers are incredibly kind. Bartenders are impeccable, and food is incredible. Recommend to everyone!

This place is amazing. I had my engagment party here on Saturday and the staff was wonderful. The food was amzing, the service was fast and they were extremely accomodating and generous. It is definetly a fun place and a great atmosphere. Will be back and do reccomend.
