I noticed this place is under new ownership and branding so I had to give it a try. I had the Spicy Chicken Sub and it was delicious. Chicken was fresh and flavorful with the homemade zesty sauce. I also loved the pepper lemon fries. This is going to be my new “Hot Spot” when I’m craving a delicious sub or boneless wings ( get them tossed in mango habanero sauce).

Hot Spot Eatery was a delightful restaurant b which stays open till 4 am during Ramadan and is also HALAL. I had the opportunity to visit and try their delectable food which I highly recommend, their food is fresh and well seasoned and the portion size is on point. I had their spicy chicken sub and their mango habanero boneless wings. Their sauces are nonidentical to other sauces, the freshness of the ingredients are immaculate. The atmosphere is astounding and reminds me of industrial Detroit. The customer service was A1, we had the pleasure of meeting the owner and he’s a very kind hearted man.

You just gotta try their chicken tenders, garlic Parmesan fries and Cajun fries to understand why I would go back for more. Fries were cooked perfectly!! By far best I’ve had in Michigan. These guys know how to do chicken tenders. Very flavorful and super tender, juicy chicken. You can’t go wrong here, would highly recommend.

Took my mom here to try it (after passing by it multiple times). I got the Carlysle Sub and a large fries, and it did not disappoint! Very generous with the subs too.
Staff gives off such a comforting atmosphere as well, this is definitely a place to try out!

What a great place! Wonderful atmosphere, amazing food and the most friendly people! Everything was delicious. Me and my daughter agreed that these were some of the best burgers we had ever had. Munchie burger is so good and the mushroom Swiss burger was delicious. Even the fries were cooked to perfection. 10/10 Me and my daughter will be back!

I’ve ordered here a few times now and overall it’s very good. I like that they actually batter and fry their own chicken, it’s not just frozen tenders like most sub shops these days.
Just one gripe, first time I ordered is in the picture below, 2nd time I ordered multiple subs for the family and they felt very skimpy. I’d just hope the sub is more content than bread always.
Overall tho it’s real pieces of chicken with good flavor. Definitely recommend trying them out.

UNDER NEW MANAGEMENT:
12/10/2023, went to try this place got their chicken bacon ranch sub and fries, the spot burger (double patty)
CBR sub: was delicious and the chicken was tender and juicy. Sun bread was toasted really well on the outside.
CON: the bread was too chewy for my liking, maybe toast the inside similar to the outside or gut the bread to resolve this if you don’t like chewy bread.
Fries: hands down the most delicious fries I’ve ever had, they’re unbelievably crunchy and seasoned well.
Burger: the meat was juicy and of good quality, so was the bun and all ingredients inside.

I can’t say enough about how good this place is. From the food to the service, Hot Spot Eatery is 100. My wife and I can’t get enough and will continue to make this our lunch time spot (and at times dinner). You will not be disappointed..
