A few of my favorite things about this shop is that they carry so many local goodies which include: pastries/bread from Gaston’s, burritos from Poppyseed Bakery, coffee beans from Ironside Roasting Co & SO much more.
I love the atmosphere. I feel like you can truly be yourself here. I’ve come in & seen people knitting, playing cards, having book clubs, it’s so beautiful.
& if you take a second to look around you’ll see beautiful little touches added throughout. The piano dedicated to good friends, a flag honoring a loved veteran, to local art being displayed, not to mention a community pantry for those that may need it. The comedic touches are golden, ie the coaster.
Everything is beautiful & I truly hope nothing but growing success for Common Ground ✨
I love that there’s a little corner for kids and families. Even a sign out front with a full list of activities this week! It’s clear that they work hard to be part of the community and bring the community in. Love that!
I ordered a foothills fog which is their version of a London fog. They were able to customize the milk and sweetness level for me, delicious. This is one of my go-to spots when I’m trying to get a little bit of work done.
The drinks and bakery items are very good and I love that this place feels very retro!
It was about 1 when I stopped in and boy this place was buzzin! People chillin outside and people enjoying themselves inside. This joint is colorful and inviting. I was instantly greeted by the barista behind the counter. I got a simple iced americano with sugar free vanilla with room for cream. While my drink was being prepared, I just hung out and appreciated the vibe.
I love the fresh flowers everywhere, inside and out. Fresh flowers give such a comforting vibe, like home. I appreciate the huge American flag on the wall! There is nothing prettier than seeing those stars and stripes. There’s goodies and all sorts of things to look at, especially the baked goods on display. The goodies looked so good but i just opted for the drink.
My americano was perfect! It wasn’t watered down from too much ice. I got to put my own cream in it which was nice! The condiment bar was nicely stacked with your essentials. They didn’t have the blue sugar which is fine, I keep some in my car. It was the perfect iced coffee!
I’m happy I got to stop into this joint today. Clearly I have been missing out cause there was hella people here chillin. I’m going to have to make my way in this direction more often. It was great stopping in, supporting a local coffee joint and getting a dope iced coffee. I look forward to coming back in for another one.
They took on the challenge of twenty plus drinks in one order for our group!
The food, we didn’t order but it had great presentation and made me have delightful thoughts, the atmosphere gave me warm fuzzy feelings of happiness, the cards were pure raw material… AND the bathroom was so bougie it even had Mrs. Myers room spray for the occasions where your burrito decided to fight dirty!!!Common Ground Coffee has got your back, that is what we call commitment! Thank you for staying calm and serving well even with our stupidly large order. You’re a gem!
