Downhill Duke’s

Duke was a Rocky Mountain legend who spent his entire life roaming the best Colorado has to offer. Though he didn’t make the cut as an avalanche rescue dog here at Copper Mountain, he was always the first to kick off the après party at the end of a long ski day. Duke’s south-facing patio with mountain backdrop is the perfect spot to relax with a cold beverage. Let your pup in on the fun with our dog-friendly patio and treats on the menu.

My friends and I stopped to eat here during a day of hitting the mountain, and we had a fantastic experience. The service was insanely fast and everything came out very hot. The drinks were delicious and the bill was very reasonable overall. I would highly recommend checking this place out if you find yourself at Copper Mountain!

Service and food was fine. I had a few drinks and left what I thought was a 15 dollar tip on a 100 dollar tab for my bartender. I must have missed the 1 and only tipped 5 dollars. The server rudely let my friend know as she came from the bathroom, and they left an additional 15 dollar tip. I was checking my bank statements and noticed an additional 50 dollar charge from Downhill Dukes, and I had not returned to the restaurant. This is DISTGUSTING operating of a buisness, and I recommend any customers to check their banking apps after visiting this scammy joint.

What a great spot for lunch, dinner, or drinks after a long day of skiing or hiking at Copper mountain. The food, views, and service was outstanding. Absolutely loved the french fries! We’d definitely go back to Downhill Duke’s on our next visit to Copper Mountain.

Lindsey was absolutely wonderful. Her Bob Ross happy little accident of creating the Thai basil spicy margarita was PERFECTION. Amazing service, drinks, and dill pickle cheese curds. Could not ask for more. This place and Lindsey truly made my Copper Mtn trip awesome.

I’ve been. Here 5-6 times in the past 2 ski seasons. Great food right off the lift; especially their fries.
Favorite spot to stop in copper after a few runs.

Pro: Great bar, awesome view of the slopes, sometimes got a DJ, menu is more bistro like (better) than the three places next door.
Con: Food took forever!!! The bartender was ignoring some customers so very in inconsistent. Food tasted ok but nothing special or makes me want to come back. Outdoor seating only so gets cold when they don’t turn on the fire pit or keeps heating lamp low.

What can I say, Your sitting outdoors drinking beer in 29°, eating amazing dill pickle cheese curds for an appetizer, while looking up all 12,313′ of Copper Mountain as your view!
I also recommend the Elk, cheddar, jalapeno bratwurst!

I’ve stopped by this spot a few different times and everything I’ve ever had has been delicious here. The first few times I ate the burgers and wings. This time around I tried out the roasted pepper smoked gouda bisque, fried chicken sandwich, & grilled artichoke flatbread (mixed herb pesto, marinated grilled artichokes, roasted tomatoes, feta, mozzarella, and pickled red onions). Everything is remarkable, specially after a long day of burning calories by snowboarding or skiing.

Beautiful view of the mountain. Food is good and not too expensive given it is located in a ski resort. Staff did a great job of handling the large lunch crowd.
