Traveling I70 and missed our chance to eat at Salinas.. So found this little place in the middle of nowhere…really cute!
Loved all the barn tin and wooden tables and benches. Really clean.limited menu. Hubby had special country fried steak and was pretty good. The gravy had a smokey flavor. I had the cheeseburger and side salad. Happy to help out a local business.. everyone friendly and it was nice to take a break from driving and have a beer and a burger .

We were driving along the interstate and of course our toddler needed to use the restroom. Super nice bartender let us. Fun group of guys sitting at the bar watching NASCAR.

My wife and I stopped in on a Monday afternoon and had onion rings with a patty melt and a cheeseburger. The cheeseburger was great and the patty melt was even better! It’s been a long time since I’ve had onion rings as good as the ones served here. Friendly, attentive service and the atmosphere was great! They have a canoe hanging over the bar (named “Aquaholic”), darts, pool, and shuffleboard. There was no sign on I-70, but it’s just off of exit 199 on the south side of the highway. We HIGHLY recommend this place!

Surprisingly great food in a little short drop off 70W. We had the mushroom Swiss burger special and it was fabulous! So worth stopping for and we enjoyed the company of the owner as well!

Love this little sweet spot. Close to Lake Wilson. Great service! Cold beer! Great food! The owner is Fantastic! Friendly with good conversation if you’re just in for a drink! Looking forward to the next visit to the Tipsy Bull!

Adorable bar and grill. Decent choice of food. Very, very reasonably priced food and drinks. The owner is worth the trip alone! He is so kind and funny. I live in Denver, but will be coming back the next time I’m in Kansas.

Very cool little place, and the service was super. If traveling on I-70, I would highly recommend jumping off at Dorrance to grab a bite. Hamburger was so yummy.

Best burger I’ve had in a long time! And the fried cauliflower was excellent. Even though it was nearly closing time the staff warmed up a bit by the time our order was ready. We will definitely be back next time we come to Wilson.
