Picked up chicken dum biriyani today. It tasted very good with the chicken also cooked very well. Pricing seemed a little off as their website says it is 12.99, so with tax included total should come to $14 something but they charged me $16.23. We didn’t realize this while paying at the store.

Tried the Chicken Seekh Kabab, Chicken Biryani and Mutton Biryani.. Easily the best food I’ve had in the Dallas area. I had an amazing experience with the owner, he was kind enough to give a small portion of his Mutton Biryani to try – it was excellent. Kabab was juicy and seasoned perfectly. Biryanis are real dum biryanis(unlike many other restaurants in the area) and very flavorful with the right amount of spice. It’s under new management now – must visit!

I ordered through doordash and was so upset when I saw the quality of the food, I should’ve tried it at the restaurant and returned the food.
Chicken Briyani – literally no masala, boiled chicken with rice. 0/10
Halwa Puri – I can’t even judge this one because instead of Halwa Puri I got dried up omelet and frozen paratha.
Rotisserie Chicken – Was so excited to try this and all I can say it was full of red color, undercooked and tasteless.
Called the restaurant to complain about getting the wrong order he stated you can come in and get it. Like hello there was a reason why I ordered doordash!
Will never be returning!

I had an amazing experience dining here! The Chicken Sheek Kabab is an absolute must-try – perfectly spiced, juicy, and grilled to perfection. Every bite was bursting with flavor. Hands down, one of the best kababs I’ve ever had! I also tried the Dosa with chutney, and it was spot on – crispy dosa and chutneys that brought back real South Indian vibes. So comforting and authentic. What truly surprised me was the fresh fruit juice – served with no ice, no added sugar, just pure, fresh fruit. It honestly reminded me of home-style juice my mom used to make. So refreshing and healthy!
Since the new owner took over, the taste and quality have improved drastically – everything is fresh, flavorful, and made with care. You can really feel the difference!

I was so happy to see that Charminar Kebab House offers halal biryani and meat options. I was exhausted and tired after work today, so we decided to just order some chili chicken. When hubby inquired about the biryani, the new management was so generous—they surprised us with extra food for me and my family. My husband later told me that they even added some gulab jamun, which happens to be one of my favorite desserts.
I’m half Yemeni by origin, but I absolutely love desi food, and this experience truly made me feel at home. If you’re in town and looking for amazing desi food, desserts, and kebabs, this is definitely the place to try. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality!

I’ve been to many Indian restaurants, but this place truly stands out! The flavors are rich, authentic, and every dish tastes like it’s been made with love and tradition. From the perfectly spiced curries to the soft, buttery naan — everything is simply mouthwatering. You can tell the ingredients are fresh, and the care that goes into the cooking really shows.
Highly recommend it to anyone who loves Indian food or wants to experience real Indian flavors. This has quickly become one of my favorite spots — I’ll definitely be coming back again and again!

The biryani was absolutely superb – full of flavor and perfectly cooked! The kebabs were really nice, juicy, and well-spiced. The whole chicken was great too – tender and loaded with taste. The samosas were nice and crispy, just the way I like them. The mirchi ka salan had an amazing taste – rich and authentic. And the butter chicken? Creamy, flavorful, and hands down one of the best I’ve had. Overall, a delicious experience from start to finish!

Never go this place if you care about your health. They literally color the chicken like clothes and salt is always on higher side. Complaint about issue and owner just replied nobody else complaint. We threw the food after showing them and kept one part just to show the color they are using.

We patronized their restaurant three times and our experience went from good to bad to worse.
Our first experience was with their seekh kebab. It was pretty good. Not wow but not bad either. It was good enough with decent quantity for the price.
We had also ordered biryani and it was good too.
Next time we ordered chapli kabab and it lacked salt. It was completely bland so obviously it didn’t taste good.
We tried this place again and ordered Chicken Tikka. We were told at the counter that we would get 6-8 pieces of chicken Tikka (and they showed us pretty big pieces of Tikka).
When we came home and opened the box, I was surprised to see the quantity – it was horrible. 6 very small pieces of Tikka thay won’t even last 3 morsels of roti. Pathetic!
They’re fleecing customers by giving such small quantities of food that won’t even make part of a dinner.
We won’t order from here again as we found customer experience going downhill within months of this place being inaugurated.
