My evening here on October 29th was delightful. I was visiting from Keller, TX. Arroyo Vino was absolutely comparable to my favorite French Restaurant in Ft Worth, Saint Emilion, in quality, service and ambiance.

The location in the foothills was lovely and private. Watching the sunset was exquisite (see my photo).

The hostess from Texas and I connected. She made my visit so enjoyable. I started in the wine shop stocked with wonderful wines from around the world that are not usually seen. I purchased 2 quite affordable wines.

John, my server, was so professional and friendly. He made recommendations upon request, and I considered them with value for the excellent knowledge he has.

There are 3 to 5 courses depending on your level of hunger. Water comes flat or sparkling. Matching wine to what you wish to eat at each course is the best way to order. Again, John gave me asked for suggestions.

I ordered the Smash Burger for my main entrepreneur. It was delicious! However, I did remove the peppers as they were spicier than I expected. My mother who is gluten-free was back at the hotel, therefore, I ordered her a Smash Burger without peppers or bun since she had gluten-free bread. She said it was the absolute best burger she has ever eaten!

My appetizer of bread and cheese was exquisite! I skipped the next course and ordered my main dish. I also skipped dessert. With my 2 glasses of wine and food, I was fulfilled.

It was a joyful outing by myself while my mother rested. Bravo!

Category: Casual Fine Dining. If you’re a foodie and live in Santa Fe, you know about Arroyo Vino. If you’re a foodie visiting Santa Fe, you may not hear about it because it’s a bit of a hike out of town. You will need a car or an Uber to get there. But the trip is worth it. Whether you sit in the simply decorated hardwood-floored dining room, at the small bar in the center of the room, or on the large elevated wooden outdoor deck in warm weather, you will enjoy excellent service and an excellent meal from an oft-changing menu. The connected wine shop has a well-curated collection, from which you can select a bottle and pay retail plus the corkage fee (which is too high in our opinion, in comparison to other restaurants with a similar arrangement) if you dine before the wine shop closes. If you don’t dine before the shop closes (we never arrive early enough) you can order wine from the list at restaurant prices. There are enough wines in the $50 price range (our sweet spot for restaurant wines) to keep us happy. The shop and restaurant also have great special wine and food events (like the Grand Italian Wine Tasting), so check out the website for the schedule. If you are in the City Different and don’t mind venturing away from the main tourist areas, be sure to check this place out. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

Did not expect to see a wine store attached to the restaurant. They have a great selection of wines and cocktails. We enjoyed the whipped feta focaccia as an appetizer and the halibut and Wagyu burger. The halibut and kale were exceptionally tasty and the spreads and cheese on the burger were superb.

We had one of the best meals that we have ever had in our 30+ years of visiting Santa Fe. Tonight we had a memorable dinner on our first visit to Arroyo Vino. We opted to sit on the simplistically beautiful patio on a mild September evening. Our server was attentive, yet casual; the way we like to dine. As we watched the beautiful sun set over the Jemez Mountains, we sipped wonderful wine from their creative wine list. As we selected our dinner our server, Michael, told us that another server, Jimmy, was well-versed in matching wines with our food selection. Jimmy’s advice was very useful. We also told our server that we preferred to share main courses. Michael assured us that that was not a problem. We selected the pate; the melons & prosciutto; the farro & arugula salad; and, the heritage pork tenderloin. We typically don’t opt for dessert; but, we were having such a great meal that we decided to have their house-made sorbets which were the perfect end to the meal. We visit Santa Fe regularly and have now added Arroyo Vino to our list of favorites.

Amazing meal at @arroyovino last night. The 2016 Pagodes de Cos and Duck Confit together was mind blowing Everyone loved their meal. The Cabbage appetizer was especially delicious. Beautiful space, great wine shop as well. Professional yet friendly service. Can’t wait for my next visit. ❤️

Three of us had Thanksgiving dinner at Arroyo Vino. The appetizers were spectacular, including shrimp tempura, and a potato leek soup That was the best soup I had ever eaten. We all had the turkey dinner with whipped potatoes, cranberries, cornbread, and fresh green beans. All very tasty. for dessert, we had pumpkin pie and cranberry crème brûlée, which I liked a lot. It was the best restaurant Thanksgiving dinner we had ever had

Stopped by here for an early dinner for our anniversary. We had been here one time before for a tequila tasting and had a great time, so figured we’d give this a shot for dinner.

Anyway, everything about the evening was really great. Service never missed a beat (without being intrusive) and the food was excellent. Prices are on the mid->high end for Santa Fe, but for the quality of the food and preparation I felt like it was well worth it.

I would never return to this restaurant, even as a guest. Which I was. Expect to pay well over $100 each unless you are happy drinking water. The view of the parking lot clearly showed the lack of care or respect for a party of 10 reserved two months in advance for a special occasion. Hannah is the rudest restaurant manager I have ever had to deal with and clearly the owners do not care. If I had been able, I would have chosen another place. Santa Fe has so many great restaurants that will make you feel welcome. This is not the place. The server only offered dessert and coffee to half the table. I couldn’t get her attention after she served them what looked delicious. Jesse may be a great chef and I would love to give her another chance at another place. The negative energy made it impossible to enjoy anything. We spent a week in Santa Fe and this was the only experience there I hope to forget.

We had the halibut and the smash burger for dinner, along with a couple of appetizers and drinks. The service was lovely and the food was amazing and we were specially impressed with the focaccia bread.

Had an amazing dining experience at Arroyo Vino last night. Started with the chicken liver pate which was some of the best that I’ve had. The fried green tomatoes with crab were also also standout. The t-bone lamb was super tender and perfectly seasoned with some delicious polenta.

I came here to celebrate a special occasion and the staff treated us very well. Specifically, our server Virginia was so friendly and helpful and even wrote us up a list of her favorite Santa Fe sights to see which was beyond thoughtful.

Thank you to the chef, the staff and Virginia for making this such a memorable meal — you are doing some great things at Arroyo Vino and made our outing incredibly special.
