We stopped here for lunch on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. This place is easy to miss if you’re not looking for it, but once inside you will be in for a treat. The menu is deep, almost too deep, really, but the food is outstanding. My wife had a chicken mole burrito that had the best mole sauce that either of us has had in years. My pork burrito was good, but I have to say that the pork was dry and chewy, not like an oven roasted pork shoulder that is fall-apart tender. Will we give Monarca Queen another shot? Hell yes!

This was our first visit and we were pleasantly surprised. The dishes are fresh. They have an array selection of dishes, from Mexican, American and desserts . The vegetarian options available too. For all the Coca Cola , lovers, they have diet, classic and real glass bottle cola for that real sugar high. The service was great and not a long wait for our dishes to come out. Prices are fair, but the churros might set you back more than Disneyland. However, well worth it!

1st time here, and it was one of the best places I’ve eaten at. Very authentic and friendly staff. I had the Burria tacos yum! And my kids enjoyed their food. We will definitely be back with more family. We’re not from here but happen to travel here often, so this is definitely a new go to spot for us now. Thank you!

My mother in law took us here and im so glad she did! I would have never known it was a restaurant its kind of hard from the outside to tell, but the food is sooo good! And their shots of tequila are very generous!! We will definitely be back!

Dope lil spot. Service was great and the place was real clean. “Authentic” – the dozen or so patrons there when I walked in were all speaking Spanish, matching the decor and music. There is a small store attached and a fruit bar. The food was terrific. Definitely going back.

Wife’s flautas were very good. My lengua burrito was delicious with very tasty, very tender lengua. 4 house made salsas to choose from, all are good. I loved the habenero version. Authentic fresh and very good Mexican food. Will definitely return

Me and my wife got birria burritos with consume and LET ME TELL YOU that it was absolutely disgusting, it had nothing but rice beans and barleyyyy any birria meat which was fatty and tasted like roast beef from a crockpot, the consume was half full and had absolutely nothing in it, no onions, no cilantro AND DIDNT EVEN TASTE LIKE BIRRIA. We could’ve made this food at home with nothing but a tortilla beans and rice like it was an absolute joke and we will never eat here again oh and also i found a bone in my burrito and nearly broke a tooth on it. This place looked okay on the inside but the food was so disappointing we paid $31 for something absolutely disgusting when we could’ve gotten an actually good birria pizza for $18 elsewhere AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS THEY OVERPRICE AND HAVE TERRIBLE BIRRIA.

The might be someone’s cup of tea but for me, the portions were too big and the quality of food was low. The fish tacos were buried in mayo. The actual fish tasted old. The carnitas were more gristle than meat. The tortillas were really good. The salsa was not very good, canned tomatoes blended up with cooked veggies. Tasted like pace jarred salsa. The chips were not fresh and were a weird yellow color. The size for drinks was insane. The people there were nice and it didn’t take long to get our food. My daughter liked her food but if you like fresher tasting healthy food, this place is probably not for you.
