We stopped in this very local Mom & Pop for breakfast but ended up having lunch. My brother, who is a new regular here, recommended and ordered the Beef Tips, Rice, and Gravy, so I ordered it too. Sarah had the Chicken Pot Pie. Each dish came with two sides and cornbread. Between us we ordered the collards, fried cabbage, and Cole Slaw. All were very tasty and generously portioned, and our server was very friendly and cheerful. I saw a review that said there is no atmosphere. I disagree. The atmosphere is exactly as it should be: not fancy but simple, homey, and comfortable. If you need a new tractor, you can also get one to go. YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice

My wife, two boys, and I were in town for a County basketball tournament. So, in between games, we decided to try this place out. Nice little farmhouse style diner.
My wife and I are almost 90 days into the carnivore diet. So, we ordered two burger patties with pimento cheese each, and two kids chicken finger plates for our boys. We all had water.
It must have boggled their minds, because I could see the confusion going back and forth to the kitchen. Let alone, the table that sat down 5-10 minutes after us received their food first.
I appreciate seeing an establishment serving hand patty burgers, but they season them with air. I will say their pimento cheese is pretty good.
When I paid, my total was over $50. I thought about that directly after paying. So, I went back and asked them why it was so expensive. The lady responded as if she immediately knew, and said she messed up and charged me for 4 double burger plates. Then, voided charge on my card. Instead of just giving me the difference in cash. Great, now my account gets a $50+ hold and the new $40+ charge that still wasn’t correct.
I feel like they felt only giving us burger patties, instead of a sandwich, it was a hassle. Not a good move. Not a proper way to treat customers. It’s not like we made some drastic changes. All we wanted was the patties that they already make.

Do not come here expecting atmosphere but the food is really good and the staff is friendly. I had the Western Omelet with hash brown potatoes ($9.40) and she had the Ham and Cheese Omelet ($8.20) with grits. Shay was personable and very informative. She gave us the names of a couple of other local places.

Now this is the kinda place your grandma grew up with. Found next to a farm and tractor type store. But don’t let that fool ya, this place was delicious. Meat and three specials with an every day menu as well. Friendly service with that down home feel. So make the drive and go try this hidden gem out.

The cheeseburger melted in my mouth!!! I am so glad I decided to add the homemade pimento cheese to it. The tomato was the best I have had in quite some time.
Both of my boys had the kids chicken finger plate. Just like the tomato on my burger, The chicken was definitely the best I have had for as far back as I can remember.
All of the staff were exceptionally friendly!
When we finished, my kids wanted to check out the fish tank, they absolutely loved this part of our visit to The Farm Cafe. We will definitely be back

I ordered the meat and three sides. First the waitress brings the bill with the food and sets the ticket beside my plate like my husband wasn’t sitting there I don’t know where y’all are from but most places it’s custom to give the bill to the husband after you have enjoyed your meal. The green beans and corn tasted like it was poured out of a can and into a pot warmed then served. Idk about y’all but we at least use salt and pepper for some flavor. Then the waitress come out with two pitchers of tea and only filled up certain people’s drinks i even set my cup on the edge of the table and still no service. The atmosphere felt very unwelcoming and was stared at as we set down. I could point the reasons for this short service in many ways but I will let others be their own judge of the place. As for me and my husband we will keep riding to the nearest McDonald’s if we are in town again.
