I ordered the cachapa with De Mano cheese (Venezuelan cheese), but what I received was what appeared to be some sort of cheap shredded mozzarella cheese. I spoke with the owner to get my money back or the correct item, and they said that they didn’t have the item and forgot to take it off the menu. I asked why they didn’t just cancel the order, and sent something wrong to which I got no response. They never gave me my money back. Never again.

The shredded beef stew was excellent with the rice, beans and platanos. In-laws were very impressed and I’m sure they will order from here as well. Worth going back….. update we ordered food from here for Easter and everyone loved it. The food was excellent and everyone was extremely satisfied. What’s pictured is what I ordered for me and my wife. So good!.

Some of the most homey, authentic latin american comfort food you can find anywhere. We got chilaquiles con salsa verde, Papelon con limon, arepa de pollo, and pabellon. The chicken in the arepa tasted like some of the best seasoned pulled crock pot chicken I’ve ever tasted. The arepa was crispy. The chilaquiles were the best tasting plate out of them all. It had an addictive flavor that kept you wanting more. Perfectly balanced, perfectly seasoned food that was clearly passed down from generations.

Had chicken patacón with some empanadas on the side to start the day and let me tell you , god was it good? , food was SO good and taste like homemade, I’m from NYC and I can’t go as often as I’d like but every time I’m around I’ll definitely be paying them a visit, worth the stop, attention was great too, thank you

The tostones were hard and the meat on top were cold. I was unsure of what to order and picked a few things off the menu, I was disappointed. Although the picture looks good but the flavors were unsatisfying. I wont be returning back here.
