Huge bowls with a lot of variety that don’t make you feel guilty about indulging. The fruit is fresh and they are very generous with their portions. The staff is mostly college students but they are friendly and seem to be enjoying themselves. Our toddlers enjoyed sharing the bowls with us. Two bowls after tax cost $27 so its a bit pricey.

Great bowls, but horrible service. They forgot one of my smoothies and it took them 15 minutes to make it. When I asked for it, they got mad, and when the girl finally delivered it to me, she almost threw it at me. It was not my problem that they forgot or that they were busy. That was very disrespectful.

Playa Bowls is always good! The Lavallette location is beachy and the staff was efficient on a busy weekend. I have walked in to order and placed orders online and it’s always ready.

I’m honestly pretty sad. I look forward to a poke bowl from here every year, but today I received a bowl of hard rice that isn’t cooked enough and essentially soy sauce soup because they completely drenched the bowl to the point where the sauce is pooling like milk in cereal.
