This place is actually spacious and has another side where they serve dessert, ice cream. They serve different items during the evening time like pani puri. They bring you the food after it’s ordered but it’s weird that they don’t also bring you silverware. The silverware is located at the front. I did get a homey vibe in there.
The presentation of the food was decent. It felt like it was more of a “fast food” than an authentic Indian food. The naan was also a bit burnt. I’ve had better naan even the ones that you just bake at home yourself. It did not taste like it was fresh but I did like the amount of spice they used.
Overall, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of authenticity flavor.

Desi District is hands down one of the best spots for Indian food with a modern twist! The butter chicken was creamy, rich, and packed with flavor—comfort food at its finest. The malai kofta was melt-in-your-mouth delicious, with just the right balance of spices. Their veg biryani was fragrant, flavorful, and loaded with veggies—absolutely perfect for biryani lovers. And the real surprise? The chicken 65 taco! Such a fun fusion dish with bold, tangy, and spicy flavors wrapped up beautifully.
The food here never disappoints, the service is warm, and the vibe is fantastic. Highly recommend Desi District if you’re craving authentic Indian flavors with unique, creative twists!

Overall, Not so great.
Rumali Roti, the main hero of this place, is quite good. The only reason why I go to this place. However, there are a few issues that make it less than ideal.
First, the menu prices are inconsistent. For instance, the chicken 555, which we ordered on the menu for $10.99, was actually charged at $13.99. That’s a whopping $3 increase in price! It would have been a simple courtesy to update the menu.
Secondly, the quantity of the dishes is not worth the price. We ordered a starter, but it arrived as a wet gravy, more like a curry. As you can see in the picture, it was supposed to be chicken 555. It tasted okay, but it was a disappointment.
Lastly, the pace of service is fairly slow, which is understandable given that we were there pretty late in the afternoon at 3:30.

I ordered Gobi 65 and was sent chicken instead. I am a vegetarian and only discovered this the next day when I ate it. This is not a minor mistake — it’s a serious violation of trust.
I choose Indian restaurants specifically because I expect basic care and respect when vegetarian food is ordered. Sending non-vegetarian food in place of a clearly vegetarian dish shows a complete lack of attention and responsibility.
For vegetarians, this kind of error is unacceptable. If a restaurant cannot correctly identify and pack vegetarian items, that is a serious problem. Extremely disappointed.

Ordered chole bhature and Paneer dosa (which was not on their menu ) but the cashier confirmed it can be served.
Got the paneer dosa which had raw paneer just grated, we asked the restaurant that it has no masala and flavour and they sent a replacement, instead of paneer dosa, normal masala dosa was served, on top of that it had a big un mashed potato, not expected. I visited their Dallas branch few months back and it was far better. Not happy with quality of food here, do

The advertising is shamelessly deceptive: “unlimited” deals, and mouth-watering pictures everywhere. You walk in ready to feast, only to discover most offers “don’t apply” or come with hidden conditions the staff can’t even explain properly.
Food quality is painfully average at best; some snacks arrive overly salty, gravies taste reheated and tired, and the chutneys are straight-out-of-the-fridge cold and clearly old. Portions are tiny compared to the photos, prices are anything but discounted, and the person at the counter has zero clue about their own promotions—leading to awkward arguments and wasted time.
Bright lights and loud music can’t hide the fact that this place survives purely on misleading ads and zero accountability. Worst dining experience in recent memory—save your money and mood.

This was our first visit to Desi District, and we had a wonderful experience. We love Indian food, especially curries and biryani , and we were warmly welcomed by Ranjan (I believe he is the manager), who took great care of us. He recommended the Mandi Chicken Biryani, which we ordered mild, and it turned out to be surprisingly delicious. We also tried the live Jalebi, which was served hot and perfectly sweet.
Overall, this is definitely a go-to spot in town. We look forward to visiting again!

We recently used Desi District’s catering service and were extremely impressed! Ranjan was very accommodating and helped us in selecting the menu. Chandu and his team arrived on time, set everything up perfectly, and made the whole experience stress-free. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Both the appetizers (veg Manchuria and kodi vepudu) were top notch. Mutton curry was yummy, special chicken biryani and guthivankaya biryani were tremendous. Our guests kept complimenting the dishes. Highly recommend!
