I recently stopped by the Mo’ Bettahs on Buffalo and Flamingo, and I have to say, the experience was excellent from start to finish. I ordered the regular plate with double katsu chicken and extra mac salad, and it was absolutely delicious. The katsu chicken was cooked perfectly — crispy on the outside with a golden crunch, yet juicy and flavorful on the inside. You could really taste the care that went into making it.
The mac salad deserves its own shout-out.it’s creamy, well-seasoned, and has that classic Hawaiian comfort food feel. I love that they don’t skimp on portions either; everything was served fresh, hot, and generous. The plate felt like a complete, satisfying meal that hits every craving.
The staff at this location were friendly, patient, and professional. They greeted me with a smile, made sure my order was right, and the service was quick even though they were fairly busy. The restaurant itself was clean, bright, and well-maintained the kind of environment that makes you want to sit down and enjoy your food rather than rush out.
Overall, this Mo’ Bettahs location has earned a spot on my list of favorite places in Las Vegas for a casual but high-quality meal. Whether you’re craving katsu, teriyaki, or just some authentic Hawaiian comfort food, this spot delivers every time. I’ll definitely be coming back soon for another plate (and extra mac salad, of course)!

First time here. At the time, space was clean. Ordered the 2 meat plate. Teriyaki chicken and Katsu chicken, rice, Mac. Was a good meal, tender chicken and sides were good. Only improvement is the service. The young dudes are sort of arrogant and obnoxious as the same time. That alone will keep me from returning. Island Flavor cost more, but service is superior.

I go here frequently in drive thru. Tonight 12/26/25 around 7:40pm, I stopped in the lobby. Service is usually great. This visit, not. Teriyaki Chicken was a 7-10 minute wait I can get over that. Ended up being about a 16 minute wait – I’ll just microwave everything when I get home, because service worker let the partially built plate just saturate and get cold while waiting for the other protein. Sit down and wait for order. There are no straws, no napkins, only knives are stocked in the utensil cups, soiled trash on counter and POG Juice looks unloved and unserviced for hours. These are just surface level issues of laziness. I’ve worked and ran kitchens for 11 years – I wonder how clean this place actually is. The only reason I didn’t stay and wait for a refund is because supervisor was in the bathroom nearly this whole visit. If it were my kitchen, I would reprimand this supervisor and re-train evening staff.

If you’re going to places like Chipotle and not Mo’ Bettahs, you are missing out big time. This place tastes better, way more food, and a better bang for your buck. The staff is friendly and awesome too. Zeke, Vern, Kalia, Sua, Emery are all-stars here. Use the app to get reward points, essentially 10% off each purchase.

Mo’ Bettahs Hawaiian Food is definitely better! I ordered the double teriyaki steak with white rice and macaroni salad, and it was delicious. The steak was tender with absolutely no fat. I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family, and I’ll be coming back for sure.

If you haven’t been to Mo’ Bettahs, you’re seriously missing out on one of the most satisfying fast-casual meals you can get.
From the second you walk in, you’re hit with the smell of grilled teriyaki chicken and smoky steak sizzling over an open flame. It’s the kind of aroma that makes you hungrier by the second. The vibe is laid-back island style — simple, welcoming, no frills — just like a legit Hawaiian plate lunch spot should be.
Now let’s talk about the food.
The teriyaki chicken is the star. Perfectly charred on the outside, insanely juicy on the inside, and coated in that sweet-and-savory glaze that somehow hits every taste bud at once. The kalua pork is tender, smoky, and melts apart with every bite. And if you’re a steak person? The teriyaki steak is flavorful, slightly caramelized, and cooked just right.
But the real magic is the plate setup. Two scoops of fluffy white rice that soak up all that sauce. Creamy macaroni salad that balances the savory meat with a cool, smooth bite. It’s simple — but it’s done perfectly.
Portion sizes? Huge. You’re not leaving hungry. You might not even finish it. And for the price, the value is hard to beat.
What makes Mo’ Bettahs stand out isn’t just the food — it’s consistency. Every visit tastes like the last great one. It’s comfort food with island soul.
If you want a meal that feels like a mini vacation without leaving town, Mo’ Bettahs absolutely delivers.

Love this place. Everything is good. The chicken, the beef, the pork….all of it is just soooo good. The macaroni is just like they make it on the islands and the staff are super friendly. The atmosphere is great, it’s just the surrounding area on Flamingo that gets a little sketchy with the homeless population- the last visit we were there, we saw at least 5 wanderers and one dropped his trousers at the bus stop. We were a little fearful that one might enter the storefront. But, everything turned out okay.
Back to the food…..highly recommend!!

I dined-in and found a hair in my food. The employee at the counter was notified and even shown the hair and his response was “okay”. That’s not the response I’d expect considering I was eating the food.. very disgusting. An apology or being offered a replacement would’ve been much more appropriate just any acknowledgment of my concern. I usually go to the Craig location which is always great but this location has disappointed me. The katsu was also cold which I didn’t make a huge deal about and just ate it. The hair though grossed me out and made me lose my appetite so I didn’t even finish my meal.

Damn good food! Wife and I were just back from the Islands for the 5th time in a bit over a year and this food is spot on. Down to the Mac salad. Try the spicy sauce and spicy mayo!

I’ve eaten at Mo Bettahs before and usually enjoy the food, but a recent visit was disappointing. If I’m expected to pay over $20 for a plate of food with a drink, I’m expecting the usual generous portions.
Unfortunately, the portions were noticeably smaller than expected and definitely not worth the price. I want to mention Roberto was the one who assisted me and has done this before and normally assists during my visits. My overall experience fell short due to the portion size for what I paid. When you’re spending that much on a plate, you expect to leave satisfied, and I didn’t.
II hope this is something management can address, because consistency is important, especially at this price point. This is advertised as Hawaiian-style food and built around the idea of an “Aloha Plate Lunch” and serving Aloha. I’m from Hawaii, and we are normally generous with our portions—that’s one of the reasons I became a loyal customer. Coming here used to remind me of back home, but this time I didn’t feel the Aloha spirit or the love. Very disappointed.
