poor customer service from a front counter employee.

I brought a coupon and ordered two large beef bowls. The cashier told me the coupon was expired. Based on my past experiences, other Yoshinoya locations usually honor similar coupons. This female cashier told me she would help me take care of it. However, after receiving the receipt, I noticed that the discount was not applied.

When I asked her why the discount was missing, she again stated that the coupon was expired. I explained that she had already told me she would honor it. Only then did she very reluctantly agree to redo the transaction. She appeared unfamiliar with the register system, and in the end, she refunded me in cash instead of properly recharging my card. The refunded amount was also incorrect.

This is not an isolated incident. This older Asian female employee has consistently shown a poor attitude. On a previous visit, when I asked for pickled ginger, she responded very unwillingly. Her behavior has been unprofessional and makes customers feel uncomfortable.

I am disappointed with the service at this location and hope you will address this issue seriously. Proper training and attention to customer service would greatly improve the experience at your store.

Front counter lady and cooks very kind.
Fried chicken pieces and udon noodle bowl, HORRIBLE !
Wasted $15 on that meal, including edamame.
What little chicken there was was incredibly rubbery and dried-out stringy, with a thick layer of overfried breading. Even if it weren’t globbed breading, it would not be palatable – the meat is low-quality.
I’m sure it’s the same at all of the shops, not special to this one.
An expensive, disappointing, waste.

I got Teriyaki chicken with veggies in a large bowl. The chicken was well seasoned and the sauce was so good. They took cash since the computer was down which I didn’t know. The lady was so nice and waiting for us to comeback to get some cash so

Shout out to Cashier Joselyn. She brought me my food when she saw I was handicapped and couldn’t move well. Good service and attitude. I ordered two large bowls. One beef and one chicken. They gave me a lot of beef but very little chicken in my opinion. I guess I got half lucky. They do charge extra for extra sauce and condiments. Be nice to the cashier and they’ll hook you up

Horrible service.. employee was very rude and obnoxious when I asked for more condiments. One would think with fast food workers in California getting paid $20 an hour that they would be happier and at least give better service to customers but unfortunately I have seen nothing but worse attitudes since. Yoshinoya would soon be added to my list of fast food eateries that I’m going to avoid.

Stopped by at night to grab food for the family. Staff were nice and quick when working on my order.

Side note: I am so thankful for the staff that was working Friday(6/21) night. I happened to drop my wallet in the store and didn’t notice until I got home, which by then they were closed.

I came back the following morning to see if anyone turned in my wallet and they happened to have it!

Apparently, the owner of the store said that the cashier recognized me and my wallet enough to stop another customer from walking away with it.

I’m so grateful to the staff that work here. I had alot of important stuff in my wallet that I really didn’t want to lose. Thank you to the owner and his wonderful team.

This place is getting more and more stingy by the day. Not only the service is rude but they are so stingy on the condiments. They only give 3 pack of ginger per bowl then but now they give only 2. Yet, they even try to skip the napkins. They give only when you ask. And when they do, only 1 piece of napkin per bowl. I never had any experience like this at other Yoshinoya restaurants. Doing business like this will not last. I am ordering else where from now on.
