Highly recommend Altiro Latin Fusion, worth the drive! I drove from Aurora to the Plainfield location after hearing great reviews, and I’m so glad I did. I went with my daughter for brunch, and it turned out to be the best decision ever. From the start, everything was amazing. I ordered the Café de Olla, and to my surprise it was served with Galletas Marías, such a nice touch. The coffee was perfectly hot, just how I like it, and full of rich flavor. We also tried the strawberry mimosa, which was very good. For an appetizer, we shared the El Elotito, and hands down, the best esquite I’ve ever had. You can truly taste the difference, fresh corn, not canned, perfectly seasoned, and full of flavor. I ordered the Altiro Breakfast (two fried eggs over a tostada with beans, chorizo, potatoes, ranchero sauce, queso fresco, and fried plantains), and it was absolutely delicious. Everything was so flavorful it did not need any extra salt or pepper, which I usually add. My daughter had the Alambre Torta with skirt steak, chorizo, grilled pineapple, Chihuahua cheese, and chipotle aioli, with a side of seasoned fries, and she loved it too. The atmosphere was great, warm and welcoming, the service was excellent, and our server was so kind and attentive. There’s plenty of parking, and I also have to mention the bathrooms were super clean, which is rare to see and always appreciated. We went for brunch, and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the food, especially considering the freshness, flavor, and portion sizes. I can’t wait to go back. If you’re thinking about trying Altiro Latin Fusion, do it. You won’t regret it!

We’ve been going to Altiro Fusion for years in Plainfield—practically since it opened. It is such a great restaurant and has an amazing take on classic Mexican cuisine mixed with and presented Spanish tapas-style. My favorite dish for brunch are the chilaquiles rojos, and my husband’s is the enfrijoladas. The cafe de la olla is one of my favorites and hard to find in other Mexican restaurants. If going for dinner, there isn’t a dish on the menu that we dislike, and one of our favorites are like Al chilango. Don’t miss out on the ala sangrona—the strawberry margarita. It’s always such an amazing experience and great food—especially since everything is made fresh to order.

We love coming here! It is off the Main Street in Plainfield but don’t miss this hidden gem. The margaritas are always delicious and the tapas are a great size so that you can share and try multiple items. We love the guacamole trio, papa brava, and tacos! They also have a really good poblano soup! In the summer they have a cute outside sitting area. The service is always fast and everyone is so nice.

What a beautiful gem located in the heart of Plainfield and Downtown Aurora. The waiter is Plainfield on March 25, 2025 provides great recommendations and services. The food was spot on, fresh and delicious. The atmosphere was cozy, intimate and quiet. Great place for selfies and date night. The drinks were excellent and the Poblano Soup was outstanding. Looming forward to returning soon.

My cousin and I really enjoyed our meals. We had the Al Salmonjillo and Al Raviole, very delicious! We also had the Ala Papa Brava appetizer, the sauce added a great touch.
To finish off we had the churros and it was ok. All of this was paired with a nice smokey mezcal old fashioned. Very unique taste!
Our server was great, but service was just a little slow. Overall we had a good experience. It’s located right in the heart of downtown Plainfield. You can have good food and a nice stroll afterwards.
